Of course it went up. The man just showed that he could dodge the legal process that politicians are put through. The people want someone who comes off as strong and Trump does exactly that. The main problem the Republican party is starting to face, is who will replace Trump? Who can follow that and more importantly who wants to follow that?

Hard to say; but the two names I've heard the most are Kanye and Ivanka.

I have a friend who is a maga fan, donates money to trump(I think so) and owns a maga hat, books, etc etc. Now I am still his friend, but politically we do not agree. But oh well.

I feel like first and foremost its because trump says what they want to hear. Not substance or anything, but does he say mean things about pelosi, clinton, and other democrat figures? Call out republicans who dont get on their knees for him? Calls out hollywood? Calls the liberal media whatever names he wants...the list goes on.

They LIKE the fact he acts that way. A lot of people like it because it isnt the same old boringness we're used to.

I don't agree. I'd take a boring leader over a trump esque manchild any day, but thats about as far as I can reason for some people.

Anyone from this board could replace him and win, but that'll never happen and do you know why? Money and fear. When you have the rest of your party scared ****less about what you'll do next and the other team is fighting among themselves it's already an easy win. It shows how little any of us matter and how much money talks. Why care about laws or politics when you can be a rich sociopath who does whatever you want regardless of how much trouble you might get in?

All of the collective parts of society could physically storm the White House and it'd be the biggest massacre in world history. With how little people seem to care about their well-being in addition to the well-being of others I'm surprised this hasn't happened yet. I'd say it's because we are products of our parents who are already riddled with inactive tendencies that our society reeks of inaction.

If there was somehow a single message or goal we could all agree on (never gonna happen) we'd have to overcome the inaction that is now baked into humanity throughout the generations. Then we would have to either get our parents on board (lol they can't even figure out shit among their own generation) and find some peaceful democratic way to fix the mess we're in or stimulate the process with raw and unconventional violence. Either way it's something that could be talked about for centuries and still never happen.
