Originally a call of duty wasn't going to come out this year. It was going to be just an expansion. It still sort of is. The only thing is that they labeled it as a sequel. Which may sit differently with people.

I'm really not interested in a 200gb+ game right now

I'm not arguing against this or anything. Totally agree. I'm just as complacent as the rest of the lot.

I watch reports every day for Ukraine. U.S has spent over 100 billion dollars for Ukraine. Then there's the rest of the world. Israel, and it's attacks in the middle east, it's business with Armenia, Lebanon, Yemen. U.S still supplies weapons around those areas. There's sooo much more that I'm absolutely clueless on, for which, and that whom are supporting, this side, and that. Geopolitical fares.

It's intense, Ukraine is bad, real bad. But there's plenty to go around. It would take me at least a lifetime to understand each and everyone's side. Which about sums it up for me.

CountDog

I've put about 40 hours into it. It hasn't captivated at all. Usually when I start a Bethesda game. Right from the very beginning I'm hooked. Morrowind the boat, Oblivion the prison, Skyrim the carriage, Fallout 3 as a child to adult, Fallout 4 out of cryo.

And now StarField, A miner starting a new journey based on a phenomenon.

For some reason it just has never hooked me. It also really isn't that much an RPG game, sure you can make your character, play with guns or not. But choices are extremely restricted. 9 out 10 times I've HAD to make Dialogue choices I didn't want to make. And then there the fact you cant kill any one with any sort of quest attached. Regardless of the significance of the quest.

I remember I tried to kill Ron Hope right off the bat. He just seemed fishy. Sure enough you can't kill him. But then later when he reveals his attentions, "surprise". You can now kill him. Totally breaks my immersion, and had done so countless times.

ive noticed that makes me wanting to keep coming back. Is wanting to complete everything, and the addiction to keep exploring, hoping for some gratifying experience. But it's far and few between. For me this feels like a solid 7/10 and I would label it a Action/RPG/Roguelite

i wouldn't say its a bad game by any means. But it certainly oversells what it says it is. But from a marketing standpoint I just don't know how'd you label it any differently. I guess there's got to be some exaggerating.

3 would be a little over 2 maybe if Cobra unit was cooler. After 2 Kojima seemed mostly cashed out on creating wildly imaginative characters. And I don't mean that he was imaginative with creating a character. So much as to where to place their roles.

Like a Vampire on top of a Harrier. With an ex president of the United states piloting it.

Yes 2 had a LOT of cultural references. Almost felt like a tribute to Hollywood. But than again he said 3 was a James bond film. Which I see as well.

I like them all for different reasons. Though Solid still feels the most adolescent of the series. Which makes me enjoy it the most.

I'm about 3 hours in as well. And so far I think it great. I've seen some jank for sure. People walking in on conversations, etc.. So far the dialogue has been safe. I want to see some violent tones.

Game is gorgeous, definitely carries a bit of that space opera feel depending on how you capture the moment, which I love. This game feels like it's supposed to be invested in. Doesn't feel like a quick rewarding game. Bethesda is from a different era, and there still making games similar to it. That instant gratification generation time has grown and settled since.

I'm honestly excited to create my first outpost. One thing I really like is scanning planets. The game is just throwing things at me, and prompting it. Since you can choose anywhere to land on a planet. Scanning It will tell you what sort of landscape your going to see. Which is cool.

Meh, it's all combat related. Nice that they are addressing the boring tree's. None of it matters though if there's no substance. Intertwined, subplots with meaningful choices that ultimately affect the main stories paths is what we wanted originally.

And that's not what were going to get with this. Game is fun, played pretty of it. Fantastic aesthetic at times, but the writing, with the main, and side quests left SO much to be desired.

I'm entirely on the fence with this. I'll most likely skip it until next year, when I have time to digest people's feelings on the matter. Plenty of games to keep on playing.

I've met more golden retrievers, german Shepard's that were out for blood more than pitbulls. seen plenty of Chihuahuas that would kill if they could. This site has some weird fetishes. People need to get out more.
