It would have to be a real national lock down, not like the previous ones were.

All stores closed to in person, has to be internet or phone based and no-contact delivery. Any non essential personnel has to be limited to their property only. Anyone still working needs proper N95 masks and constant testing.

After that, international travel and borders has to still remain closed.

And somewhere around week 5 everyone in a household has to be tested. If they are clear, they get to leave after week 6. If anyone in the house has it, entire household need to be locked down for another 6 weeks.

If there is a plan like that for lock down i'd be down for another go. But it would more likely be a half assed lock down that does shit to actually stop the spread, just slow it down slightly.

As the first lockdown proved, it's a waste of time. People will still need to work either to maintain the numerous essential businesses we need to function or just simply to pay the bills and survive.

No, but it is a pretty clean picture of chess in the 60s-70s. That's the chess world, but usually a bit less glamorous in real life.
