The thing is it really wets bread and makes it way easier to eat. Most mustards really fail to improve sandwiches etc. in edibility. But, if you go fluidity to fluidity, mustard is extremely overpowering compared to mayo. A simple bologna sandwich goes down fine with mayo, replace mayo with yellow mustard and you may as well pull a hot dog contest move and dunk it in water if you want to get it down. I'm not complaining because I'm a Simic player and have the deck, but they have had so long that "it's a new mechanic" is a non-defense. Field of the Dead felt broken in standard the first time I played against it. At least with Oko there are answers in this barren field of land removal. Modern was the new Legacy, Frontier and Pioneer have tried to be low cost alternatives to Modern. I remember what I consider the best Extended format I played with Urza's to Kamigawa. I've heard people call it the extended format that ruined the format, but everyone could play it. You could take standard decks and with max $30 make it full compatible the format or play a deck you played five years earlier. People still got upset. It doesn't matter how you do it, there will always be someone angry about a long-term format while the people with the cards will either be angry that a slightly shorter-term format is trying to replace the one they (paid to) play or feel like they've been pushed out. There is no making people happy in this regard. Everyone will be unhappy if they paid for a format that will be pushed out or asked to pay into a format that is more expensive than their budget allows. --- Advokaiser, 2018 character battle guru champ! |

In the movie they have a tachyon/nuclear event that Dr Manhattan is framed for, but in the comics Veidt/Ozymandias fakes an invasion from another dimension by using a super huge squid. I know a lot of people didn't even notice that the gameplay was changed, but I most certainly did. In fact some characters, like Cassandra, were created specifically because of changes. I've lost a small amount more over much more time because my doc said I had to lose it, but not too fast. He said if I didn't lose 20lbs then in a year I'd get diabetes and I lost 50 in that time and I'm still dropping, so I get the desire. Like they jump into a romance between Witch and Vision and you're like ????? Vision and Scarlet Witch get maybe 15-20 minutes and I understand their relationship better than Moll and Pascal from Beast and they get the whole movie together. You get told they have a relationship, others would prefer they didn't, and one of them gets attacked to the point the other has to kill him at his request...
