Have we discussed the bullshit Michigans Republican legislature is pulling? Michigan got enough signatures for ballot initiatives that would increase minimum wage and mandate paid sick leave. Prior to the election, the Republican majority voted to affirm both of these things and keep them off the ballot. AFTER the election, in the lame duck session (before the Republican governor is replaced by the Democratic governor-elect), they start walking back the bill THEY passed.

Whether youre for or against increases in the minimum wage, you have to admit that its fucked up, the way they pulled this shit.

This criticism is actually more fundamental; it's one of the main reasons I don't really like him in the first place! It's fine to simplify your plans to the electorate to effectively sell them, but if at the end of the day your math doesn't check out you're not going to solve the problems you meant to.
