I've barely made a dent in Eryth Sea/Alcamoth, but that area probably won't take as long because there isn't as much to do. I also like that region more. Eryth Sea is one of the most beautiful levels in gaming imo. Also, my play clock is at 62 hours in eight days. I'm speaking very broadly here, but if you live near the 215 freeway (take a look at a map, and it's the freeway that bends from the south, west, and north of the city like a strange horseshoe), you're probably in an alright neighborhood. In terms of traditional houses, 800k will get you a mansion even in the nicer parts of town. My parents' place is 2400 sq ft with a pool in a nice area, and it maaaay be worth 400k. My condo is in the same neighborhood and tops out at maybe 200k. I think @StealThisSheen moved here a while ago. @mnkboy907 has lived here, but I'm not sure if he still does. Realo lives here but isn't really a B8er anymore, and Kuge used to live here (I hung out with a him a couple times). Regarding the best places to live (or avoid) - from my experience, the two most popular suburban/nicer areas are Summerlin, a master planned community on the west side of the city, and Henderson, a separate city to the southeast of the strip. I've lived in Green Valley, a slightly more affluent part of Henderson, for the entire time I've been here and really like it. Generally speaking, I'd avoid areas near the strip and downtown. Anything in North Las Vegas, fucking forget it (unless you're going way up north near Aliante, which is pretty outta the way imo). Realo is actually a real estate agent here, so he'd likely have more insight if you ever want to get a hold of him.
