that's part of what i hate about dating these days, you make plans a few days in advance, but an hour before they cancel because truly they were never planning on going on the date in the first place

personally i don't make a date unless i genuinely want to meet someone, and i don't cancel unless i'm actually sick. it's just about having respect for the other person's time imo

O no, I don't wait until the last hour. I usually know what time I get off the day before, so I'll let them know. The only time I cancel day of is if something goes really wrong

In my profile it says: If we match, I will probably say something unique like "Hi, how are you?"

Usually I'll look through their profiles and if there is something unique, a picture or bio, I'll try to comment on that. If not I just drop my generic line. Also I find it helps not to message too fast. If a girl takes 2 hours, you take 2 hours. If she replies instantly, you reply instantly. I match their message speed
