I liked wandavision and I'm liking Falcon. Half way in both are equal or so for me. Reserving judgment until done.

Saying Falcon is dragging: Let's not act like the first 3 episodes were for everyone in Wandavision. A lot of people I know thought it was a drag.

Less social media presence: Most of Wandavision social media presence was batshit crazy theories "Mephisto! Xmen! Fantastic 4!", the biggest moment (social media wise) was Quick-Boehner showing up. I think people may have learned to keep expectations in check.

Comparing to Ant Man: Ant man movies grossed well over half billion. Falcon episode 1 was more watched than wandavision episode 1

I kind of wish his identity wasn't leaked in ffh. It would be nice to have one guy stay a mystery to the world

I enjoyed wandavision but let's not act like it was paced well. The plot only ever moved in the last 2 mins of each episode

I think Falcon and Winter Soldier is gonna be seen as the weakest of the MCU shows when it's done (or until Hawkeye because lolHawkeye)

The MCU shows have been killing it. Wandavision was great and so far falcon is too. Can't wait

I wonder how a show or movie starring John Walker would do

This movie has enough trailers. Show us shang chi, eternals, spiderman, ms marvel and hawkeye

Im surprised there's so much footage of Sam with the shield in trailers considering he may not get it until the final episode

The weakest shows are likely gonna be the totally new stuff without any old characters bridging things. Wanda, Vision, Falcon, Bucky, and Loki are all fan favorites and will still be seen favorably even if they suck.

The true test will be the stuff after.

Guess Ms. Marvel will be the big test

They have definitely looked worse than walker. Walkers worst thing so far was getting mad at a guy who spat in his face.

This definitely felt like a middle episode. The first 2 were better but I like where this show is going

Sharon is a super soldier, should have just created serum from her blood

Half way through it is about equal-ish to wandavision half way-ish, maybe even better

I remember Wandavision topics having more activity

but then I remembered how most of it was people debating how xmen should debut in MCU

For the Bucky vs super soldiers talk, didn't a flashback in Civil War show him get his ass whooped by one soldier even with his metal arm. And then the dude went berserk and Bucky escorted a scientist out during the chaos

If I'm remembering that correctly then it seems like they're being consistent with Bucky jobbing

He seems to be weaker than other enhanced individuals that aren't him eg the other winter soldiers, spider-man, etc

In this he might have been trying to abide by the rule to not hurt people, he wasn't using his metal arm.

He might be more deadly as the winter soldier who has the killer instinct than bucky barnes, who doesn't want any of this

Actually bucky might have been holding back because of the no hurting people rule

Maybe his experise is infiltrating and assassinating targets but he doesn't fare well against other super humans

I will say 1/3 into the season I prefer Falcon to the first 1/3 of wandavision. Though Wandavisions first third was its weakest

Bucky got the biggest nerf. He was so badass in Winter Soldier but since then his ass whoopings consist of:

I feel bad that Black Widow finally got her own movie and then all this happened.

She deserved a movie before captain marvel as the first MCU movie with a female lead. This should have been before Endgame

I think something will give after it. This, Shang Chi, Eternals and Spiderman in 5 months is too much. Combined with Loki, Ms Marvel and Hawkeye tv shows. My bet is on Shang Chi getting another delay

I skipped a few of the MCU films and I dont know these characters very well.

Couple questions:

1. What was the relationship between Cap and Falcon that led to Cap wanting him to take up the mantle?
2. Winter Soldier is basically a super soldier like Cap, right? Was he hypnotized by someone that made him do bad stuff? Who created him/gave him the super serum?

1. They met during the winter soldier, as said similar values. Sam helped in taking down the heli carrier. In age of ultron sam became an avenger and they went on missions together. After civil war steve and sam were fugitives together.

2. I believe in the first avenger the short hydra scientist gave bucky something when he was captured. Then when he fell off the train he survived due to that serum as steve theorized years later in winter soldier. Once captured he was further experimented on

I never played Morrowind, and Oblivion was my first game in the series.

People who say Oblivion is better in Skyrim are out of their minds. It's a direct upgrade in every conceivable way.

I think I preferred the quest lines, especially the dark brotherhood in oblivion

Great first episode. Falcon's aerial battle at the start is impressive. It is actually better than a lot of hollywood action films. A hundred times better than WandaVision so far.

They're so different

Give me a show or movie that's just wimter soldier murdering dudes. I'm up for it

I didnt watch Wandavision. This show isnt going to have any tie-ins from that show, where I need to wandavision first? Right?

I highly doubt it since this show was supposed to come out before wandavision

After watching the first episode, not sure, could give wandavision a run

That was really good, the right length it felt like, where as the wandavision credits rolled too quick

I voted no but I'd love to be wrong, I really liked Wandavision

Maybe a multiverse spiderman that gets pulled in for spiderman no way home?

Just make it so mutants and the X-Gene have always existed in the MCU, they were just very rare until the cosmic radiation of multiple gauntlet uses on earth jumpstarted tons of new mutants.

I'd establish that Xavier/Mags/Wolverine have indeed been around for many years, and have a small class at Xavier's school, preferably the OG 5 X-Men that are also pre-snap mutants, allowing them to be the leadership to all the new blood flooding in.

Basically this. On this earth 2 infinity stones have been around for centuries and a third one for a bit as well, they emit plenty of radiation. Then 3 snaps on earth, an alien invasion which left plenty of alien debris, the hex. So many events that could cause the x gene to activate. Have them always been around, xavier sought them out and kept them hidden but recent events plus blipping back causes way more to show their mutation

Why wouldn't cap want to oppose giving the government full control when the government's first option to stop an alien invasion was to nuke new york, and then the government's response was to create a fleet of heli carriers that would shoot people before they did anything illegal based on their SAT scores and voting patterns. Finally the main supporter of the accords was the guy who made the genocidal robot
