KH3 definitely did some things right. The gameplay was pretty top tier, especially being able to actually use any Keyblade you wanted, everything was gorgeous, and it was by far the best the Disney worlds have ever been.People really gloss over how fun the game is. I liked that the Pirates world was full on open world with a boating game built into it that is pretty fun. Frozen is probably the weakest world but everything else was great. Good combat, pretty worlds, and the usual antics of anime characters interacting with Disney characters. I swear people just suddenly forgot that KH games are all like this for the large part of them --- "This is your last dance." |

2 and 3 being hot garbage made me go you know what, Xenoblade 1 was simply lightning in a bottle. It's not that they botched those two sequels, it's that they got lucky with 1 being so fantastic. It's just so drastically different from 2 and 3; tone, characters, caliber of voice acting.3 is everything 1 wanted to be but better and with a cast that isn't tossed aside for the main character to solely suck up the spotlight --- "This is your last dance." |
