Just catching up to this topic. I didn't realize you were having trouble, BCT. Dunno what happened with the mods, but it seems like everyone has a bad experience eventually. Whatever it was, I hope it doesn't completely ruin everything else for you. But if you gotta go, you gotta go.

I'll stick around. Things are definitely looking up from that nadir from mid-October, so things should normalize for me. A new normal, though. We all have that sometime. Thanks for words of support!

Okay, I did a walk-in interview at Target and got a seasonal job, so I can breathe more easily there. Still going to search for additional opportunities, obviously, but this should ease my worries for the time being.

I'll go ahead and compile this and figure things out. I will definitely require a co-host as retail work has erratic hours. @MetalmindStats, you game?

@trdl23, do you have a submission? You'd make it 12, and that would be perfectly ideal for what I'm hoping to do. You can do one of the following:
1. Download the Sims 4 Create-A-Sim demo. Use that.
2. Use an avatar creator. Google it and find one that fits the art style you desire.
3. Ask someone else to do art for you. You might have to pay them.

It'll probably work like this:
3 divisions of 4 characters. Each character has one match with each of the others in their division, once per day. This will be 24 days.
Wild card: The runner-ups from all three divisions will face off against each other. This will be 3 days.
Final division: The division champions and the wild card winner (the one with the most combined votes across all 3 matches) will compete in a new fourpack. This will be 6 days.
Championship: The top two scorers from the final fourpack will face off against each other in one final grudge match. This will function like a "Save My" final, with multiple votes per user. The reason for this is so the champion will be the one with the more passionate fans, to distinguish it from an ordinary match.

What an episode that was. It had everything, though it sucks that Jason's gone. I too would've much rather it been any of the other three, with Feely Dan being the one I like the least, and I'd expected it to be either him or Lauren. The Tribal music has also been KILLER this season.

According to Jason's exit press, 1) he played a fake idol that Noura left behind in the swap, 2) Vokai was voting for Aaron in a planned 4-2-2 and had to then bank on his vote after Elaine pulled out her ammo (hence the whispers), and 3) he fully anticipated it was him. I believe him on all accounts.

And, of course, RIP Rudy :(

tbh my job situation probably has something to do with all this, and with my sluggish pace in getting things together for this. It's kind of a headache for me. Perhaps I'll be more stable once I get a job and am not worrying all the time.

Ash: High Midcarder. Most people around here have some sort of nostalgia for the Pokemon anime, and with Red powering through close matches into round 4 a year ago and regularly making it deep, I don't see any reason why Ash would be much different. Might get a few anti-votes.

Flash: High Fodder. He hasn't had a movie yet, but has been in Justice League and apparently a movie is in the planning stages. People know who he is, which is enough to step on lower fodders, but there's not enough reason to care about him at this time. I err toward High Fodder since there's bound to be hype for the movie coming out in the very near future, but can see Mid as arguable as well.

Doc Brown: Mid Fodder. Love BTTF 1 and 2, and most people around here probably have seen at least the first movie at some point. He's had no impact on video games (just some 80s titles and a Telltale release), but he's an iconic character and the one people remember Christopher Lloyd for. I would think that's reason enough for him to not be Low Fodder. He could even be High Fodder, but BTTF mania was four years ago now (cripes), and not all that much has come from it.

Corleone: Mid Fodder. That's a legendary movie, there. I just don't see enough people caring that much for him to vote for him over a video game character, but he's at least going to beat some Mid Fodder.

Nightcrawler: Fodder Line. He's recognizable and popular, but he's no Wolverine. Low Midcarder is also justifiable.

Zelos: Mid Fodder. Kratos Aurion is High Fodder, but still tends to make brackets more often than Zelos, whose one appearance was getting 4th place in 2007 against... Marcus Fenix, who, uh, isn't very strong nowadays, but was back then. Nook and Kefka would advance from that match if held today. I don't see Zelos being in the same league as Kratos for those reasons, ergo he's a tier below.

Y'know what's "cruel and unusual punishment" too? What happened to the murder victim, the rape victims, the children molested, etc. Most of whom did NOTHING wrong! Isn't that against the Constitution, then?

And didn't I say that we should just blow the bad guy's brains out behind the courthouse? Just because I support the death penalty in certain cases doesn't mean that I support lethal injection. I don't.

There's nothing "cruel and unusual" about ending the life of someone who ended someone else's or caused severe mental anguish for several people. Why should those assholes just be fed taxpayer dollars in prisons?

The death penalty is completely fine so long as it's for a murderer, serial rapist, child molester, etc. and the conviction is supported by DNA evidence.

That last part is critical. If there's no DNA evidence submitted, the death penalty should, by law, not be allowed to be considered. And instead of putting these sickos in prisons to wait 10+ years to die, just go shoot their brains out behind the courthouse. Who cares about ethics when what the bad guy did wasn't ethical? It's about saving taxpayer money.

The Samsung ones are pretty good. Remember that you get what you pay for.

Definitely go 16GB. 8GB is the minimum requirement for most things, but 16GB is needed for serious gaming or multi-tasking.

They use different connectors. The ordinary-looking ones use a SATA port, which you probably have. The ones that more resemble RAM sticks are m.2 ports, that your mobo may or may not have.

What is your mobo model? That would certainly be of help here.

Captain Marvel: High Fodder. I mean... she's hot. And I personally liked her movie. I can see why others thought it was "just another superhero movie" though. I feel that the MCU has made her well-known and recognizable enough for her to beat Low or Mid Fodder, and she's enjoyable enough of a character on her own too. I think you guys are underrating her, simply because of who she's capable of beating.

Mr. Freeze: Agree with High Fodder, and that Catwoman is Fodder Line (possibly even a Low Midcarder). I don't think I voted on her day, so perhaps she'd adjust up if I gave her a Fodder Line vote? I see Freeze being a tier below her no matter what because he's not as iconic as Joker or Catwoman, but he replaced Penguin as the #3 Batman antagonist ages ago.

Yeah, I really didn't like that. I don't care that it was a blindside, and she said "blindsides are fun" beforehand...there's something about overplaying in modern Survivor that I find unpleasant. Taking out Chelsea was just stupid, and feels like making a move just to make a move.

Pretty much my feelings, too.

And the edit made it way too obvious, despite implying it could've been anybody. Because of "blindsides are fun" and a few other things Chelsea said. I would've loved to have seen a shock Missy or Aaron elimination with this buildup.

Prince Sidon: Midcarder. I might be biased because his autograph is right below Urbosa's (I still think she's a tier low, personally), but he's a tier above her. He is the strongest NPC exclusive to BOTW simply because of how much Internet popularity he gained; my immediate reaction to him was "This guy is a real piece of work." He's infinitely memorable despite only being in like five scenes and the memes are everywhere. Plus, BOTW.

If you're wondering about the other three, I'll be getting two of them in a month (Zelda and Revali) and at least one of Daruk and Mipha at the same convention next year. They like their BOTW voice actors.

Loki: High Fodder. He's a villain, not a playable character, and his impact in video games is minimal (he's not even playable in MvC!). Still think he's somewhat strong given his role in the first Avengers movie, which is something most people on this site have seen, but he's probably only going to beat Low or Mid Fodder.

John Wick: Mid Fodder. His game just came out, so we should probably wait to rate him until we see how things are in a couple of months. His movies are there, sure, but I don't necessarily see him as being overly strong because I don't see much in the way of topics about his movies. I may be wrong on him, however.
