I've only played Sly 3 and 4, but the platforming in those is brilliant and much more complex than what little I've played of Ratchet. The story in 3 isn't that bad, either; I still take great amusement in them deciding to steal Tsao's treasures and set him up to be arrested by a woman just because he's a misogynistic asshole. That guy deserved it and I wish jerks like him would get theirs more often.

Crash and Spyro had a couple good games but fizzled out. Since Sly is newer and more refined despite also fizzling, that's where my vote went. I really hope that series gets a reboot soon. It deserves it.

Only time I ever do is medical settings, and it's a face shield since I can't physically wear a mask for more than 10 minutes.

If I'm asked in any other setting, I'll just say no and ignore them. I can do what is best for me, and if you're going to be judgy, I DO have a fist.

I too feel vindicated with using Firefox + uBlock Origin. I like that it has some Chrome features but isn't mining your data. I don't mind having your favorites and history tied to a login - you don't lose them that way.

Troll 2 is indeed the ultimate in "So Bad It's Good" entertainment. For all the reasons you stated. That's why I love it.

I much prefer "cheque" to distinguish it from financial checks for budgeting. And because it's more fun to spell it with a Q. It's one of the inferior things about American English and I'm doing what I can to push the envelope.

The online payment system has an extra fee that amounts to more than the cash back I would get on a credit card. I also get nothing back for a direct transfer, which also costs extra because they have to pay to use the system. I thus pay with a cheque since that costs nothing, especially since my parents bought me a large amount of them 15 years ago that I'm still going through since I have the same account.

I pay my rent using a cheque since there's no extra fee that way, but I don't write them for anything else since I can pay more securely with my credit card.

That's half of the site's "news." It's been that way since COVID hit, and was already on that trajectory before the pandemic. Sometimes I see a clickbait headline and Google it so somebody who wrote an actually decent headline gets the clicks.

I'm hoping this - if true - is good news for contests to happen and Allen to actually get some relief. But Fandom is a large reason I run an ad blocker. If I didn't have an ad blocker, I would use the Internet far less.

Honestly a smart decision with adblock going away for a lot of browsers next year. Yes, us smart b8 users will work around it, go to Firefox, etc. But the vast majority will start to see more ads so why not buy up more websites and throw more ads on them

I already use Firefox and uBlock Origin and if that doesn't work anymore due to companies being anti-consumer, you may see considerably less of me.

Also my instinct if a website starts playing audio without my permission is still to exit the tab. Thank goodness for uBlock - I get no malware that way, too.

What the hell? That was either extremely premature or... completely mutual. tbh I haven't seen any fire this season, and maybe he already thought it was just time to retire, and McIntosh wanted it to be a little earlier.

(FYI I am talking about my team, Wisconsin, firing HC Paul Chryst after the abysmal showing against Illinois - but at least it took three bad losses, not just one)

It's about five years old. That's one year less than the time between RE1 and REmake, and probably more by the time it comes out.

REmake was a completely different game with much superior graphics, more streamlined gameplay, and tastier Jill Sandwiches. The original RE was a very early 3D game on a console that was already considered primitive after 5 years. REmake was a huge upgrade.

Because the PS4 still plays and looks great, and many of those games are playable on PS5, there is no reason for there to be a remake of Zero Dawn. Just put out another game in the series instead of rehashing the exact same one, because this confirms that they have zero ideas for what to do for sequels.

There were just too many songs on here that I just did not like. I'd say it was 8-6. My opinion aligns with Raetsel quite a bit here. My initial rankings don't look too different, either!

Since I actually got through this once, I am gonna give this a second listen. Might skip a few songs again though. I do think cutting two songs for length would've been a good thing. This is an hour long and that's a bit much for me, as I've stated.

Yeah that devilish typo is why I struggled to find this one to begin with. I'm also enjoying some of the songs later on the album more than the earlier ones. I think this album would've benefited from cutting out a couple songs.

The good news is that since my opinions are typically opposite of everyone else this is probably the frontrunner for winner of the next "Rank the Albums". Not for me, but I suspect a lot of people will be quite happy this week & that's always nice to see.

Did you forget about me? That said, I don't know if I'll participate in the next one, considering I untagged this last one and never went back to that bullshit.

All I will say about this album is: Nope. Might not even get a full listen from me. Tracks 2 and 3 were terrible.

Never cared to use Snapchat but I have a basic idea of how it works, that's it. I don't understand the point of it or the need for it, however.

The only social media I actively use is Facebook because of groups. If it weren't for that, I wouldn't use any of it except to lurk.

I've been struggling too, although for different reasons. Stress eating is something I struggle with also. What I've come to realize is this (if you don't want advice, just ignore this): Play to win, don't play "not to lose" - death is losing. Keep going to actually win at life instead of dying inside and doing the bare minimum to survive.

I have to find a way to turn things around. Whatever that may be. I have to actually make it happen, whatever is is. That starts with new habits to balance things out.

You can do it, my friend! I'm here if you need me.
