They're still developing Gen 8 for 2019, they've said as much...be patient. They just did the Let's Go games as a casual experiment for those who liked Pokemon Go.

Though I will say that the remake for Majoras Mask is fucking awful. I'd STRONGLY recommend getting the version that was on the GameCube if at all possible.

Agreed with everything here except for the remake. I thought it was still pretty good but they made a lot of changes to it. Especially the bosses, they tried to make them longer. So I can see how some people wouldn't like it. But I'd recommend getting Majora's Mask on the Wii U eShop if you can...if they re-released it on there. I forget if they did. It's different enough to be worth playing over the remake. I just know that the Gamecube version is really unstable.

Then that's tough. Some of the games have been on there for years. If they didn't play them now then they most likely weren't interested in the first place.

This can also happen with some physical games mind you, where it gets difficult to find a good working copy because it's a rare game.

Awful single-player selection.

But I can't rank it last because it has an awesome roster (...until Ultimate comes out) and at least is more fun to play than Brawl. And no, it's not because of tripping. Brawl is just too slow, floaty, and attacking isn't even safe because of the absurd ability to immediately cancel hitstun with anything.

I love the misconception that skilled players can't deal with items. They can, very easily, it's just they like things to be more fair in tournament settings. Do you think it's fair when you end up shield-breaking someone, you charge up a smash attack, and then an explosive item spawns right on top of you as you release the attack, killing you instead? It's funny sure, but when you're playing to win that can be frustrating.
