It's essentially the same as an M rating. Japan just has multiple ratings that all fall under the "M" umbrella. The M rating in the US is super broad, covering both tame stuff like Halo and more extreme stuff like The Last of Us. Most other countries split those games into different ratings. Actual porn games in Japan don't get rated and you're not allowed to release them on consoles. |
