You can get them free-to-play but theres a cap of 50 per day that way (and its also dependent on time/location/in-person/PvP factors), or yeah you can buy them.

Since their inclusion in 2020 they cost 100 pokecoins for a single pass and 300 for 3. Now Niantic has upped the price to 195 pokecoins for a single pass and 525 for 3.

The 3-pack was 250 for the first year or so I could deal with the increase to 300, but now its basically doubled.

I ended up getting Bravely Second (plus demo), Detective Pikachu, and Pokmon Blue and Crystal. I think Im good now.

Count me in, it seemed like a series Id have liked but I only played a few min of the first game.

1 was best, and easy sequence breaking made it super replayable.

2 was kind of a slog with the Dark World, limited beam ammo, and temple keys.

3s planets werent as interesting and certain power ups were kinda gimmicky and not interesting to use especially with how often they had to be used (grapple beam lasso and overcharge thing). The motion controls overall were pretty fun though, like the plasma laser puzzles, and x-ray visor targeting.

Right. The 8 bosses before the final boss are easy enough, it just takes a while to beat 8 fucking bosses, and you can only save before starting them, not during or after. And then the final boss is really hard and in the likely event you lose, you have to do the 8 preceding bosses again.

The OST in the first game was one of my favorites.

Never finished the secret final boss tho, it was too BS having to do a 1+ hour boss rush every attempt and not being able to save.

This is OK but not drag story hour

This topic made me want to get in some runs again and I was able to finish using the Bow for the second time, and the Fists for the first time.

Bow run hammers gave me triple shot + explosive shots. Fists I have no idea how I won because I still felt weak af at the end, only managed to win thanks to using whichever Call as a crutch, and somehow still having all 3 death defiance lives at the end (which Hades ate through all of)
