Am I a degenerate for loving (really loving) Chef Boyardee canned food?



I like the Mini Ravioli with meatballs and the Beefaroni. It's filling and cheap food. Other food costs more or is supposedly "tastier" but I keep coming back to the Boyardee.

I'm looking forward to grabbing more at the grocery and having it tonight. Like I want it more than I want Pizza or Sushi.

Am I a degenerate?

I still love spaghettios (although nowhere near as much as pizza). I'll buy a 4pack pretty much every time I go to the grocery store. I'll often buy a 4pack of their canned spaghetti and meatballs, but I like that one less than spaghettios.

Honestly, I keep a can of spaghetti in my hunting pack just in case. I have plenty other stuff but just in case, I got a can of Chef Boyardee ready to go.

edit: as a Canadian, we put it on toast as a quick meal.

I fucking loved Beefaroni as a kid and in college, the spaghetti with meatballs (as well as beefaroni still). Probably haven't had it in a few years though. If it didn't have (what I assume without checking) a high ass sodium count, I'd probably eat it all the time. >_> I kinda want some now.

No, I still like their beef ravioli. Not so much a fan of their skettios anymore, the sauce is sweet and thin. Their Mac n cheese is pretty decent, but I much prefer Kraft's and Annie's.

kinda. cuz on one hand, like everyone is saying, it's unhealthy.

but on the other hand, who cares, eat what you want, life is short. if you love that shit, do it.

just keep in mind it's unhealthy so it's probably a good idea to offset that by being healthier.

i love the ravioli but i don't buy it too often. maybe once every six months or so.

In college I used to take huge cans of family size ravioli, dump it in a bowl and mix in a bunch of ranch dressing. I would never eat that now.
