I really would not compare it to Mandy. That coke filled thrill ride has an entirely different story telling mechanic.

It's really hard to explain. It starts off slow but it builds on itself in those moments. Nic Cage still does Nic Cage things but he actually holds his own really well. It reminded me a lot of Annihilation, even though the story it is based off of is much, much older.

Not only this, but Biden still hasn't had a very wide audience for any sort of public speaking gig. Most interview pieces have been shot in front of his library (or green screen, who knows) and has given us hints that he's been reading off a teleprompter.
