I did this to get more into football with the guys at work. Been doing it for a few years now and it really helped.

Mines classed as 37.5 hours as they dont count our lunch break.
Were constantly short staffed and if the work doesnt get done we can stay and claim overtime for it. I probably do about 2 hours overtime a week

The place I worked at when I was 19 had the owner of the company try and visit each store once a year. He came to see us out of the blue one day. There were 3 people working there including me and he didnt even acknowledge or look at me once the whole time he was there.

Where I work you can get signed off sick for 6 months and still get full pay. People really do take advantage of this. We always have at least 3 people signed off on long term sickness.

Holding the power button until the slide to power off thing appears is what Ive always done. Never knew about the power + volume up/down method. Just seems to do the same thing but a little faster and also gives you the SOS option
