I also worked alternating weeks so that one week I was working 3-4 day graveshift, and the other week I was covering the other days. It was impossible to go to school because of that. Glad I left.

Rowling also liked posts attacking the inclusive lgbt flag despite herself not being queer. For context, the brown line in the inclusive flag represents people of color. So it isn't merely that she's a transphobe but that she's becoming more openly racist.

I have a hard time believing she would be racist against people of color. I didn't know about the brown line until just recently.

Yeah if my life had played out differently, I think I couldve seen having kids. But like I feel like I barely have enough time for myself as it is, Ive been working with customers for the almost twenty years Ive started working (which is essentially like taking care of little kids) and I just have absolutely no patience left. Thats not an acceptable condition to have a kid under.

Plus I have trouble sleeping. If I was one of those people who could wake up and get right back to sleep, it would be one thing.

If I could be a stay at home dad, then Id consider having kids but having to deal with a kid on top of dealing with work? F*** that lol idk how people do it.

we had layoffs two months ago and our stocks aren't so hot.. and I got a 4% raise (so did everyone). My boss's boss said he doesn't think he can do that, and he thinks what I'm getting a competitive amount. I should have brought up salary.com.

But I do beyond what is in my job description for the position I got promoted to, and more than anyone else in my team, who are/were above me.

Shouldn't have signed it right away and thought about it over the weekend, but whatever. Sigh.

Has anyone tried to negotiate their wage during a promotion?

5 years ago, I used to think a 10-12 year age gap was creepy/made me uncomfortable. But now, it doesn't bother me as much. for one, my parents have a similar age gap. Two, it can work as long as they are consenting adults and can respect and be mature, and one isn't being a predator towards the other (the young can also abuse the old), it can work out.

Ideally I'd want to be in a relationship with someone who is like 3-5 years younger than me. Hugh Hefner age gap relationships would kind of freak me out, but Leo and his early 20 girlfriends don't anymore. Its weird for sure that he has a thing for that age range, but he has a good reputation and non of his exe's ever complained. I don't think he's a predator. Dude is still relatively young, even if he's dating 20-25-year-olds, and they seem to benefit way more than he does from his status and wealth.

I mean, they have it good vs average human, but they still got personality and relationship issues like anyone else.

It's definitely a double standard for sure.

There are young women that pursue older men, as well as older women pursuing younger men.

I'd want my kids to be independent, but also not in debt. The kid should have a job to help pay rent and help around the house. They can live indefinitely in that case, imo. Would help a lot with paying off school.

That seems to be a more modern interpretation. The old belief was that all sin was a result of angels fucking human women. Animal sacrifice and such didn't work, so perhaps a god being sacrificed would end suffering?

Nah I think people were giving sound advice. He went like 5 dates with the girl and didn't hear back until a week later ( after triple replying )and she made some bs excuse about her phone being lost, but she just uploaded a video on her TikTok during the time she was ignoring him. Also how she responded kinda gives it away too.

I pretty much sent a text saying I hope she's OK and its nice to hear from her. I haven't heard back yet but I'll keep yall updated. She would normally text me early in the morning or in the evening/night cause if work schedules.

I'm leaning more towards this is done though. After a week of not hearing from her I no longer idolize her. Which I should have never done in the first place.

Best actor and best supporting actor i can agree with and I'm happy with.

I dunno about best actress and best supporting actress. Jamie Lee Curtis did a good job, but I think there's better. Like even T chala's mom (the actress) did a pretty damn good (and better job) than her. Stephanie Hsu definitely has a bit more range than Curtis in that role, though somewhat annoying at times (hate to admit this).

I haven't seen a lot of female led roles to pass judgment on the best female actress role for someone better (haven't seen movies like Women Talking or Tar). i thought the performance was good, but nothing special for Michelle Yoeh. Better than Curtis though.
