First thing people should learn is to never litter. Everything I've seen about Japan, Tokyo especially, has said that Japanese people's #1 concern with foreigners is they won't respect their trash policies and dirty up the city.

Obviously there's way more you'd have to learn than that, but that's weirdly one of the biggest things. Personally, I'd probably enjoy living there more than in America. The convenience of travel via the trains is something I'd like a lot, and Tokyo has plenty of LGBT friendly communities I could disappear into to escape the regular public eye.

Nah. I worked there for two weeks as part of a business trip. I had a good time, but wished I was more closer to my Japanese coworkers. Some asshole not even in my dept couldn't respect their culture and made me an errand boy to ask when they would get shit done. I could tell they didn't want to hang out with us after. I felt so bad. I remember working there for 7 days straight, 9-10 hours a day.

But anyway, I've seen/heard from too many foreigners not getting treated the same as Japanese no matter how long they worked. Job options are much more limited for foreign worker sand you don't get the same rights/treatment. It's a great place for vacation. Job wise the hours are longer if you work in a white collar job and you can't leave until your boss does. Plus rent is expensive in the cities. There's a reason why Japan has a high suicide rate. Unfortunately that's the major reason.

Obviously if you plan to live there for a while, learn their culture/assimilate and respect it and don't stick out too much.

Nearly all of refugees bring deported, have left Afghanistan to escape the Taliban. 600k of those were living in Afghanistan since 2021. Pakistan claims they are all undocumented, and that over 2 million undocumented Afghans are living in the country right now. Thousands of Afghan refugees have left l already on their own.

The UN is asking to hold off to avoid human rights violations.

They're trying trying to deport over 1 million Afghan Refugees back to Afghanistan in a matter of two days. Those Afghans left largely to get away from the Taliban.

Im no geopolitical expert but from what I understand is that at heart its a religious issue over a holy land and I dont think there is a solution for that unless both parties have some sort of enlightenment, and at that point we are no longer talking about current Israel or Palestine in the first place. Right now at this point is just about Israel kicking Palestinians out of their homes in Gaza and west bank iirc. Israeli government wanted to take their land in general.
