I do a Moonsault (Lunar Landing) as a special occasion top rope finisher, and a Sister Abigail (Burn to Ashes) as a regular finisher. Perhaps it is a petty strike at me, adding insult to injury after taking my tag titles? But eaed, it isn't worth it. Listen to me, for the sake of the company. I'm angry about this situation, but part of being a good leader is being willing to listen to reason despite my personal grudges. I hope we can both listen to reason here: King of the Board must be made null and void. 2 of the 3 remaining candidates are former heavyweight champions! The pool to replace me was so thin, the finals will likely undermine the very foundation of this tournament--to anoint a new star among the UCA's not-quite-ready for prime time players. The finals will almost assuredly contain a bout between my own Kingdom disciples! A Kingdom exploding in a time of already great instability for the UCA, because of you! By all means, give my loyal servants title shots at Summer Spectacular for their commendable efforts, as they've proven how strong the Kingdom is. But the title and crown of King? Bah! This has been a failure for YOU as GM, eaed, not just a catastrophic event for me. Consider this: tag titles or not (and I am still very, VERY upset about that most regrettable loss), the UCA's denizens made their choice known back at Modern Warfare when the stakes were high. SSW is full of competitors that came in here just to lose, for no rhyme or reason, nearly every week. And yet, just being associated with the Kingdom at MW took them to victory over future rocks. The People have spoken, back then and at Ruin last night, and again and again in between...the message is clear: King Apollo must stay atop the Kingdom. Perhaps not as tag team champion because they want to see him on his own again, as Undisputed Heavyweight Champion. I do not blame them, and once this farce is over, I intend to return to my hunt for the greatest prize in our business. But they want King Apollo. Give them King Apollo. First thing's first, what a tie in the Beat the Vote Challenge means is quite simple! The choice is no longer up to either title bout challenger. The choice, of course, is mine! And that choice is....there will be no special guest referee for Night of Champions. The former partners seem evenly matched in this first contest in the lead up to NoC, and therefore no unearned advantages will be incurred. The balance demonstrated so far will be maintained. Now, what you've all been waiting for, news regarding the Tag Team Title match at Night of Champions.... @eaedwards6400. @XIII_rocks. You are worthy opponents, to be sure. You've proven that as of late. | Apollo_Phoenix 05/30/17 5:25:00 PM #42 | In a strap match, any given lead maxes out at 1 (so, say there are 3 votes for you, then 2 votes for your opponent, you're actually losing 1-2 because of the order of the votes). However, you auto-win with 4 votes in a row. also, I believe the tally for that example would be A with 6, B with 3, because they'd still have the chair on that 4th vote for A, and only lose it after the two consecutive B votes. --- The King of the Board, whose name is Phoenix Long May I Reign |

I am more than happy to extend them that opportunity at Night of Champions...but it comes with a condition. Undercard Beat the Vote Challenge: UCA Undisputed Heavyweight Champion davidponte vs. Sonic the Hedgehog Beat the Vote Challenge: #1 Contender TheSultanOfSlam vs. Metal Sonic Tag partners become rivals as Night of Champions approaches. david wants to prove he's not only the best the UCA has to offer, but the best the guys from SSW have ever seen. Tonight, he gets a change to do both! He takes on one of the team members from Modern Warfare who helped SSW/The Kingdom usurp the UCA in the first place. Meanwhile, Sultan takes on Sonic's metal counterpart, with an important stipulation on the line: whoever wins by the largest margin (or loses by the smallest margin) decides whether or not their Title match at Night of Champions will have a special guest referee (TBD by the Kingdom)! HW Exhibition: StifledSilence vs. Broken Raven Eruption was known for its great matches between great competitors, such as myself. Hopefully we get this tonight between these two greats, and that Raven doesn't get distracted by that pesky ZeroSig guy rearing his ugly head again! Melee Mayhem Shenanigans: "Marquess of Queensbury" Champion Eddv & Maniac vs. EmeraldEgg & Master of Taybles Strife Eddv spits on the Melee Mayhem title, and Emerald has come forward to defend its storied history!...and also to step up from the LW division after some sustained success. Too bad for eddv that I happen to be quite fond of the MM title, so tonight, in preparation of their...singles match...for the title at NoC, eddv and Emerald team up with two Mayhem Masters who appreciate carnage. And to make sure eddv can't ditch his partner...I'm making this a Strap Match! Taybles, Open Challenges, and Chairs (oh my): DPOblivion vs. IHateThisCPU DP wants a match at NoC. CPU...does not, but has one! Maybe they can work out a compromise in the ring? Or at least let out their frustrations against each other...in a Chairs match!
