Oh David…Summer Spectacular…what a horrible night to have a curse.

The curse of facing a man who is the living embodiment of decay, debauchery, and filth. But in those, I have found peace of mind. Do you know why I set your memories ablaze? Too long have opponents come and go where they “fight the good fight,” and “show respect.” I have lived in UCA so long, I have been stained by its culture, only to see myself redefine it. I have watched too many people show weakness and compassion for their victims, instead of taking advantage of opportunities like I do. What good is it to simply defeat an enemy? What do you understand about them or their purpose? I make it my mission to go beyond other’s limits, in the pursuit of injecting my opponents with fear…the fear of knowing that if they stand still, they die. If they fight back, they die. Each and every person in my way has had the scent of death etched on their face, as I warped and emotionally crippled them.

Isn’t it just lovely?

That is how I became the Master of Ceremonies. I took a title left for dead and fueled a mission of destruction. People like Raven, Sultan, and even you were incapable to outlasting me, of scarring me, of eliminating me. Those so called "men who would be king" failed to stop my rise. Tom, Emerald, Jed: they all lost because they failed to understand what Apollo taught me: that to be crowned King is to dictate UCA in their image. I understood too well that UCA is a horror show, and its people accepted that fact. I have turned this into MY temple, UCA Undergound: the epitome of depravity.

So I ask you again: how do you intend to stop me? You have fought and defeated the best of UCA, but none of them was willing to put you through the hell I have and will do. None of them spend their days and nights festering within and analyzing fear and pain. I defeated demons of my past, and delayed the ascent of the future. This Sunday, you are all that stands in the way of UCA's greatest present fear of Strife: Undisputed UCA Heavyweight Champion. Or do you have what it takes to deny these people what they deserve?

I am going to cut to the chase and I am absolutely not going to mince my words. I, and I am sure my partner XIII would concur, have had enough of the Kingdom and the insubordinate behaviour that they give myself and the people of the UCA. The truth of the matter is Apollo Phoenix lost. HE LOST. The King of the Board returned. When he threw his childish temper tantrum I tried to find him some help. In exchange, he tried to cause problems by beating up members of OUR UCA ROSTER. That's right everyone, OUR ROSTER! He got lucky that the "King" title stayed within his "Kingdom's" family. His minister, Tom, have decided that they want another chance at XIII and I's UCA Tag Team Championship. To this, I say come and get it because I would love nothing more but to put you down. I would like to remind everyone this, THE KINGDOM WAS IN THE WRONG! A deal is a deal. Had XIII and I lost, the UCA would have lost the King of the Board and Apollo's partner wouldn't have had the biggest accomplishment of his entire career. Congrats again to you, Strife. So I tell you this ladies and gentlemen, things have been going well in the UCA and help us defeat the kingdom so that the UCA can continue to shine and so that the Future will Rock.

King of the Board was an INSULT to the Kingdom, even if the crown ultimately remained within our ranks where it belongs--a result I knew. It was pre-destined by the Gods.

You've been hiding and running from me since Night of Champions, eaed. Tonight...I'll make you remember why.

And on the very same night I get my hands on you after all these weeks of built-up tension, I find out that at Summer Spectacular, I'm taking back my Tag Titles! Glorious!

The Kingdom gets what it deserves, and THE King...gets what he wants. Our success is written in the stars, and inside Hell in a Cell...I'll write it in your blood, too, boss-man. Count on it.

I just don't get it, I don't understand. I've been replaying that night in my head since it happened, replaying what it felt like to enter that bus and see everything I've worked for in pieces, and I don't get it.

Have I been going about this the wrong way? Have I convinced myself that the way I've reigned these last few months, with honour, respect, and hard work, are the right ways to go, or is it all a lie?

I've prided myself on my own way of being Champion, my own way of doing things, and I've succeeded, but you're trying to ruin that for me, Strife. It's not enough that you want to take my title away, my pride, but you've attempted to destroy everything that has got me here along the way, and I can't get it out of my head.

The world you live in is dark, it's cruel, unforgiving, and that's how you strive. You bring your opponents to these dark places, spew your propaganda, mess with their heads, break them down, and when you're faced with a husk of a man, you attack. It's worked before, and it's working now. Everyone you've gone up against has succumbed to your tactics, too lost in themselves to think of a way of fighting back. You haven't fought fairly Strife, and it's become increasingly apparent as I've been lost in my own thoughts that, maybe, it isn't possible to win this fight fairly.

I'm tired of your shit. I'm tired of your rise, tired of your short reign as King, tired of your demons and your fear and your belief that death, darkness, and weakness is what defines us here at the UCA.

I am not a husk, I am not going to cower over and heel to the darkness, and I am not going to lose to you, no matter the cost.

You want darkness, huh? You want me to stoop to your level? Is that what you want? I'm not afraid anymore, because I see what needs to be done...

*David slams Strife's head on the table, walks over to him, picks him up, and powerbomb's him through it*

How does it feel Strife? How does the table taste? Has the fear set in yet?

*David throws Strife out of the ring, towards the commentary booth*

Do you smell the death now, Strife? You can't stop talking about these tables, can you? How does the other end of it feel?

*David picks up Strife again, only to powerbomb him through the announcer's table. He picks him up for a third time, and powerbomb's him on the apron*

This is the match I've waited for, for it is destiny in the making. Here, I shall defeat the undisputed champion by putting him through a tayble!

When that happens, the execs will have NO CHOICE but to insert me, The Broken Raven, into Summer Spectacular's main event. Zero Signal's appearance will then be cancelled, because no one wants him back; I tell these infidels what they want, and they want more Broken Raven!
