At damn near double the price I would gladly bet nobody I regularly talk to would buy it. REMercChamps said he'd pay 2k - my friends and I could do it even without financing but we're not gonna get 2k worth of entertainment out of it unless it has insane exclusives. It doesn't help that we don't play nearly as many games as we used to and we all have custom built PCs - for that price we'd just buy the next new Nvidia cards. I'd imagine most people with $1000 phones are getting more daily use out of a phone than their game systems (or at least I'd hope). I know I'm easily on my phone 6-8 hours a day between work calls, listening to music, calling/texting people, playing some phone games, etc. If it wasn't for Covid I'd probably be lucky to get half that on my PC. I'd personally probably get it at release for $500, maybe for $600 if it had enough features that I liked. --- |
