They could have completely left the White Walkers out of the show and nothing would have changed. After episode 3 I thought the Night King's purpose was to nerf Dany's army so Cersei would have a little bit of a chance and there would be some tension. Totally lame conclusion to the WW arc, but at least it had a purpose. But nope, it was still just a total one sided stomping lol. Actually genocide is the more accurate term. --- Hello world! |

Yes, she has always had redeeming qualities and ambitions, and more or less was overall a pretty decent ruler. But her emotions were always on display. They did a good job of keeping her on the "good" side, so I'm not saying I totally saw this coming. But what happened wasn't shocking or unrealistic to me considering what we've seen from her. Not even the Mad King was this crazy. She just committed the largest genocide in the history of the Targaryens... after they surrendered! The Mad King was so terrible because once it was clear he had no chance of winning, he was going to blow himself up and the Red Keep. Dany had already won the battle... and then for no reason slaughters a thousand times more people than Cersei ever did lol --- Hello world! |

Here is a pretty good video about it. Basically, for 95% of the fights you just hold attack and you can win. Add in the fact that there are healing items everywhere for almost no currency, and there is no penalty at all for using a health item, it breaks the game, there is literally 0 challenge. Every fight just comes down to how many healing items you have and how much are you willing to spend on the fight, you should never die. The fights look great, but they are boring af to play --- Hello world! |
