lol no. I don't like playing games where it doesn't feel close and that Mario was just dunking on me.

I did come in with the intention of practicing. It's whatever. Quickplay opponents afterwards just soured things for me so much more. I think I just lost my window of opportunity to enjoy this game against other people.

I'll still tournament watch at least.

I just dont know how to get practice in this game. If I make my own lobby, someone comes in thats way better than me so I dont learn. If I go into another lobby I win and then the host kicks me even if its close

Anyways on the subject of elite smash, my issue is that you cant reset your GSP. Since I have a character in Elite from way back when the game was still new, it adds a lot of inflation to my GSP, consequentially making my games harder when Im trying to shake off all of this rust and get familiar with the game again. Making arenas doesnt work either because I always get these super tryhards I have to kick, because getting stomped into the ground and styled on doesnt help me learn anything.

But I'm kinda just playing different stuff now. Ordered a gamecube adapter and controller so I can maybe practice on Terry a bit (the notches will help the command inputs I think). But idk. Any time I try to shake off the rust against a real person online I get stomped usually which discourages me from playing

The characters I "play" (because I've been on a long break) are usually campy and I'm bad at dealing with the pressure I guess. Was the same in Smash 4, cuz I mained Villager in that game (beat a pre-nerf Diddy at one of the few tournaments I went to tho!)

For the people that dont like role queue, Quick Play Classic is a thing (can pick whatever hero you want, just as long as someone else on the team isnt playing them), and theres a ranked version of that mode too. The bonus being that QP Classic is in Arcade so you can farm the 3 weekly arcade boxes from that too.

There are consequences to actions and if it's jail time for ending the poor girl's life, he'll have to accept it. Emotions run high when it's a life or death situation and you're asking for the world for a guy who feels he has the power to correct the outcome after just being robbed at gunpoint.
