Nah, she is 100% balanced. Ignore the idiots making meme posts about her on Reddit because they have no clue on how game balance works.

• Jetpack makes her a big target if used incorrectly or in open space
• Missiles dont even land most of the time (theyre best used to flush people out of cover) and cant be used indoors
• Ult can be cancelled by enemy damage, and also make her super easy to hit as she goes straight up
• Her passive scan is nice and all but it points out people you could already see with your eyes, JUST while skydiving. It does refrain from scanning Mirage decoys, though
• Recon survey beacon scan. The whole class can do this, and lets be honest, your teammates always ignore these, even when you ping them. I dont deny its powerful to know where the next ring will land though and I always try to take advantage of these

Of course the geniuses of /r/apexlegends feel the need to compare a single ability (for example, passives) instead of the kit as a whole. If you want busted, just look at release Horizon, who had just a 5 second downtime between gravity lifts.

Rampart is even better as the sniper. Amped Sentinel round 1 behind amped cover = BIG damage. The problem is braindead teammates that will run out of your sightlines and bitch that you didnt help. Its especially bad on Artillery where they will run over the bunker every time and then you have no shot on the enemy that inevitably downs them, even when youre on the highest point of the map.

Apex is the only battle royal game I've ever enjoyed and played for any significant length of time but having to play with randoms all the time ruined it for me and I quit playing a couple of seasons ago. The number of times I had to deal with people dying almost immediately on dropping and then quitting the game (on top of all the times it would short stack teams) just to get one decent game in became unbearable.

1) Take jumpmaster. I normally hate being jumpmaster but have forced myself to take it more often so my teammates cant force us to drop Fragment on Worlds Edge with 10 other teams.

2) Play ranked. Your teammates are incentivized to not leave in ranked. If they do and their banner hasnt timed out, you get loss forgiveness, like we did when my dipshit Lifeline teammate left after cussing us out, when she intentionally solo dropped into a team of 3 instead of dropping with us to loot first.

Theres xp bonuses for top 5 placement in the battle pass, and you get bonus xp for playing with friends. Not sure how its calculated for arenas

Heres whats getting changed today. Bow may still be too strong imo but hitting the damage, ammo count and charge time is definitely the right move. Lack of arrow drop-off and perfect hip fire are still big issues imo.

Yep. She's no muss, no fuss, and useful in all situations. Smoke is good for running away and helping teammates, the extra speed boost when being shot at can save your bacon, and her ultimate is good for putting pressure on. Nothing crazy op and nothing that's pathetic.

I just crafted her Heirloom knife so I'm all about it.

I also play Crypto, he was the one that got me back into it when he came around. I got the turret girl as well but she seems pretty damn useless.

Well I mean, they did ruin her smoke last season. They fixed that though. I have her heirloom too and it was a gut punch having that happen the same patch it came out.

Sheila sucks yeah. But Rampart is really good in Arenas Ive found. Not as good in BR but she is a whole lot better than she was when she released.

Octane has been my main since he came out, Bloodhound was always my secondary character, but they both might move down one spot for Valkyrie.

Mine have been Bangalore, Wattson and Crypto (in ranked; Ill play a lot more legends in normals, which is why I havent built the kill counter past 400-something with anyone yet).

Honestly Valkyrie might become my top pick though. Ive been wanting her to come out ever since the future roster first leaked.

Crypto still gets scan assists because using Neuralink actively puts his drone in danger. Tbh I dont even try to scan enemies, because having the drone alive is much more valuable given all of the other things it can do

octane also looks fun, but maybe not the best legend for a new player.

Octane has always been popular, and hes pretty meta too after all the buffs hes gotten. The recent adjustment hes gotten makes him a little easier to kill but still hes great.

I love Apex. I just hit level 500 last night. I also think this is one of the best seasons theyve dropped. Valkyrie is going to be one of my mains (which is a good thing because I dont play many mobility legends). If people ever wanted to play Id be down. Ive gotten Platinum the last 3 splits on PC, though I dont really care if youre not at my skill level. Giving it your best is certainly better than what randoms do a lot of the time too... like when your arena teammates dont listen to you when you say to just hold ring and you lose even though you personally have done almost 4.7k damage.

I wasted my 1st purchase on Mirage back when the game was new. He's fun but everyone is wise to his tricks now.

I mean they did a complete rework on him now. I think hes significantly better than he was on launch, especially now that his decoys have footsteps. You have to be really smart with him to dupe though.

I think his stealth revive is his best trait though. Like it doesnt require any level of skill to do.

It features permadeath and random map generation. It appears to have permanent upgrades and currency that carries between runs so I would get it if you got mad at it not being called a Rogue-lite.

We work from a queue thats generated from marking posts. We do not patrol the boards for violations and asking for a post to be deleted is not how things work. This is why hes telling you to mark it and move on.

I played the alpha. It was okay. There is potential but a lot of things stacked against it.

Most prominently, WB is the publisher and theres rumors that future maps will be paid dlc, which will end up killing the community

Started watching him like 10 years ago when the first Binding of Isaac came out and Ive been watching him on and off when I play the game again (when new expansions come out basically). Hes always been kind of a positive person to watch but him being a new father with the baby in the room kinda adds a new dynamic to his videos. Idk. Like it isnt weird for him to be talking about Isaac (which can be grotesque at times) or whatever story hes on a tangent with and then break into the Frog Song to calm down fussy baby.

10 years of Egg and its nice to see him still be a positive figure when theres so many toxic presences online.
