Yeah, your shove means he might call with his KQs. If you checked and he had that, he probably would have checked behind. That's why your shove was good imo. It was just unlucky he had what he did

ehh, the only problem with trying to rep a higher pocket pair is that is a very safe flop. There's no need to bet 8bb(at minimum the blinds were 50/100 with a 250 pfr. Could have been lower which makes it a bit more wild). I don't think AA, KK, QQ ever tries to get everyone to fold with a big bet. You'd get more quarter pot or third pot bets to entice some callers with a strong hand.

Bluffing multiple people with a huge cbet is risky business when your hand doesn't make much sense for the situation.

But that's all from a theory perspective I suppose. Live tournaments do draw out people who don't think and unorthodox plays like that can work more often

The final hand with ATs, not much you can do there when the ace comes on the river unfortunately. Villain could have a lot of different kings, even weaker suited aces.

Have you ever tried to start a fire? It's not super easy. A flaming arrow doesn't guarantee that the entire Ent would go up in flames. Anyway, the Ents destroyed the dam and unleashed a river. The Ents that were on fire just took a dip and everything was fine.

One of Sarumans powers was the ability to charm basically anyone he wanted with his voice, but that doesn't seem to work well against Ents.

That's playing scared and there is not a single poker book focusing on cash games who says buying short is the most profitable way of playing. There isn't a serious poker coach who would recommend it either.

So when you sit down and cooler somebody who has 100bb and you sat with 40bb you're losing out on 60bb value.

It's a very simple illustration and its why serious poker players always top back up after losing a sizable pot.

Buying short is objectively bad if you are trying to make poker a career. If its just for fun, then you can do whatever.

It's possible, but you're leaving money on the table when you do it. If you can't buy in for at least 100bb you're playing too high for your bankroll.

So, fresh start. Do you have any comments on the story or characters present?

No, pretty sure releasing an incomplete game immediately made it the worst in the series. As bad as 13 was, it was still a more complete game storywise than 15 even though it ended up having two sequels.

Also, the story wasn't engaging, and the combat was lame. I will say that the main party members were pretty decent though. Not sure if it was just the voice acting being solid or just better writing.

15 had some great characters, and the overarching story is top tier Final Fantasy.

Nah. They released an unfinished game which immediately sends it straight to the bottom. Even if all of the post release content was released on day 1 instead, it would still be one of the worst releases in the franchise.
