I really liked Phantom Ganon in Wind Waker

Yeah, the boss is mechanically the same as the fight in Ocarina, but the direction and spectacle of it gives it an entirely new feel. I especially enjoyed how the music and sound effects shift to match your spell parries, culminating in that sweet fanfare when he fails to deflect his spell and gets hit. Made the fight way more satisfying than Ocarina's

I've played jazz on the streets of NOLA with three of my buddies. We got $30 and only played one tune. (We didn't rehearse for it and just sort of made something up haha)

Climbed up and down a cliff using my bare hands and feet (no chalk, no ropes, no helmet). Going up was easy. Getting down was terrifying

I got my old Honda in and out of a ditch on a steep hill (about 55 incline) with an icy road (1/8" of ice). I had to go in reverse down the hill using gravity, got into the ditch, and then had to coax the stupid thing out. Fortunately the only damage (aside from my pride) was a small dent and some scuffed paint (I scraped against a tree on the way down haha)

Lost Kin was easy once I realized that I should not be challenging them while they're in the air. Jump only to dodge their slashes and use Defender's Crust / Spore Shroom to deal with the floating orbs and stuff.

They have an absurd amount of health though. Upgrade your nail to the highest level you can get it and it makes things MUCH easier.

Do you upgrade past the pale ore one?

There are three pale ore upgrades at least

1 ore (channeled)
2 ore (spiral)
3 ore (don't know yet, need more ore lol)

For at least 6 ore total in the game

Yeah, spore + stink is a great badge combo because it gives your heal a (surprisingly decent) dot attack with a large aoe

I use that combo in lots of fights. It was really useful against the Watcher Knights (boss guarding one of the dreamers)

The Oracles are tedious, but not hard

The 64 ring run requires two playthroughs of each game (optimally, you can do more if you really want to)

There are a few rings tied exclusively to gasha nuts, but you can figure out where to plant your trees for best results using the very useful guide on this site

The worst rings in Oracles are the ones tied to minigame rewards, because you can't save scum them like gasha nuts. You just have to git gud and beat it until you get what you want

Last Story and Pandora's Tower are both pretty good

PT is kinda formulaic and predictable, so I can definitely see it growing dull on people. My main issue with that game is that one of the last towers crashes the game when it tries to load it. If you keep resetting the Wii it will eventually work, but it really sucks.

LS is my second favorite Wii RPG after XC (though I guess that doesn't mean much given how rare the genre was lol). It's basically like an action game mixed with pseudo-tactical RPG battles. And it has a hub. But following the story it's like a giant action movie. Very quick paced.
