Still going in to work (retail/distribution clerk for U.S. Postal Service), but not having as long hours as I used to - luckily, I have plenty of money in the bank to see me through and then some.

Can't go much of anywhere when I'm off, grocery shopping is dicey at times, but otherwise I'm doing fine.

Lucked out in finding an open hair salon yesterday when I was off - got my haircut and my beard and mustache trimmed.

Almost no change - it's slower at the retail window because of fewer customers. By the time the retail window closes, most of the stuff for tomorrow is already done. Soon as all the stuff for tomorrow is done, I'm free to go.

Employer - Business as usual, though customers have to maintain a 6 foot distance from the next customer in line.

City - Certain entertainment venues (Prime Osborn Convention Center, TIAA Bank Field, cinemas) have been shut down and events canceled, restaurants are drive-thru and/or pick up from online orders only, most stores are running on different operating hours. Beaches have been closed as well.

State - Apart from some cases in the Fort Lauderdale/Miami area, not much.

Traffic's a lot lighter when I'm driving to work, and with schools closed for now, I don't have to contend with the speed zones near the schools I pass by each day.

Haven't had as many customers these past few days and not as much mail to sort after the retail window closes - so I've been allowed to go home earlier than I usually go.

My older sister died of cancer at the age of 10 in May 1985 - I was about a month away from my 9th birthday when it happened. Her death devastated me to the point my parents took me to a psychologist - it took years before I finally understood why her death hit me so hard.

Stayed a night for observation after I fell off a swing under the carport at my home up north, hitting the back of my head on some concrete - had X-rays done (no abnormalities, thank goodness), stayed a night in the children's ward.

Had to go to a hospital after spending a few hours at a NavCare regarding a stiff neck. Had to wait God know how long after the staff was convinced I had meningitis - turned out it was just a tight muscle that needed relaxing. No overnight stay for this episode, luckily.

Got a sizable backlog of games to play and movies/TV shows on DVD or Blu-Ray to watch.

Also haven't gotten started with building a couple of scale models of a couple of World War II warships (Bismarck and HMS Hood) - I got the paints, brushes, glue...just haven't been bothered to start.

First time I played each game in the Saints Row series, I would attempt to duplicate how I looked IRL. That's probably the only series I played that involved customizing the main character - haven't bothered with any other games that do that.

Saints Row 2 (only one out of the series I did multiple playthroughs) - after the first one, I did playthroughs where the main character looked like AVGN, Leonidas from 300, Beavis, Butthead, Mr. Rogers, and several others.

VHS when I was about 7 - 8 years old. I remember recording the 1984 National League playoffs on VHS tapes back then.

Got my first DVD player around late 2001 and started collecting at that point. I didn't move up to Blu-Ray until a few years ago.

I get the occasional raccoon and opossum these days. Though it's a rare occurrence, sometimes a turtle or a snake shows up in my backyard.

Where I live, Chili's appears to be holding steady. Applebee's and TGI Friday's, on the other hand, aren't doing so well. At least a couple of Applebee's and Friday's locations have closed in the past couple of years or so.

Born in '76, saw arcade machines just about everywhere when I went shopping with my mom. Played my first game of Pac-Man at a roller skating place in San Diego, and as they say, the rest is history.

Arcades started disappearing around 1984 or thereabouts, me and my family moved to Florida in October '85, and offhand the only arcades I knew were at Regency Square Mall and a local bowling alley. Said local bowling alley shut down when I was a sophomore in high school, and Regency Square Mall had an Aladdin's Castle and a Tilt at one point - only for both of them to shut down eventually (hell, Regency Square Mall is near deserted now).

I've played golf in my youth - my dad's the avid golfer of the family, though. According to him, my swing's more natural than his. I have a tendency to hook or slice the ball, though I also have a fair share of shots I like to brag about.

There's a Topgolf driving range not too far from where I went to university - I've gone there a few times.

Bowling is more my speed, though.

I got my first bike for Christmas 1981, I think. I didn't make any attempt to learn how to ride until the summer of 1985, though. I managed to get the hang of it, despite gashing my left knee so bad I had to get 10 stitches.
