I don't aim to work for Amazon though. AWS Architects help companies that use cloud services from Amazon. Amazon also requires big companies to have a certain number of certified practitioners hired if they want to form partnerships with Amazon.

Personally I want to find work with any company in Europe if possible, but I still want to learn about other technologies before job hunting properly. Docker is my next target. It's the next big thing and is exploding fast. It also has a lot of support on the cloud with many services dedicated to using and managing containers.

Also the way the cloud works is built on some principles that do not deviate too much. So if you have the AWS basics down, it's no huge leap to switch over to Google Cloud or Azure, the fundamentals are quite similar.

Yeah, it was hard work though. I work for 4-5 hours daily and dedicate 1-3 hours of study every day. It took me two months with no background knowledge on many of the subjects related to AWS. First month did not have a rigid schedule, second month I made sure to study at least an hour daily.

And really, if I can do it, anyone can.

It's only the "Chinese virus!" and "an attack on America!" because trump and co want to cover up their miserable handling of the situation to save face. Where the irony is that it's usually China that is criticized for things related to saving face.

Not that this is a defense of China, government there is garbage and they have legit problems. But I merely comment on the pathetic strategy by a pathetic president.

Average AWS SA makes 100k plus in salary. It facilitates getting a higher salary or getting a job in the field without having a huge amount of prior experience. But in such cases you would need to show some initiative by learning other technologies and having at least a little bit of work, even if it's just some private projects, to show for yourself.

On its own it's not a guarantee of anything, but it can help you get your foot in many good doors, and that's often a hard step to overcome for many in today's world.

As for what the job is, basically it's related to knowledge on how best to deploy solutions on the cloud for companies. The aim is to utilize the endless amount of AWS services in a manner that is easy to maintain, effective, resilient, and cost efficient. You can think of it as something of a puzzle where there are endless strategies to meet your goals, but the end goal is optimization on many fronts.

After getting banned for 30 days maybe three or four times in a row because some mod keeps misinterpreting things I said (i.e. a quote sympathizing with Muslims they interpreted to be an attack on them), instead of arguing in this toxic where the kind of guy like Randal from Recess is king, I hit the books and got the AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate certificate.

You can do it guys. Self quarantine from the outside world, but do the same from wastes of time too. Udemy is full of high quality courses that can widen your skillset for really cheap prices.

They think they're being hunted in their own country. That much money should be on an interesting bet, not a sports game. You can bet someone that they can't go around the world in 80 days for instance, although with modern technology you might lose that in the span of a few days. But that is an example of an interesting bet.

I assume that at the time of the movie (mind you I've only seen the first three and episode one), from the senator's words, only remnants of that religion remained. Maybe force users wished for a revival? That has happened before in history, where there were few who followed a certain religion in a certain area, working with what little information they had, then that religion boomed there by some means and changed the world.

Not an expert, but as a religion, it can have the power of religions. You could argue it is more powerful than a nuclear bomb, because while that can destroy a city, religion can gain you entire countries to your side.

Agreed. Thing is though it sort of came out at a time when YT was moving to a more cynical stage as the world situation deteriorated. As such it signified everything that was wrong with pop music at a time when many were realizing its unbearable nature. It seemed to just tick all the right boxes to make it a perfect vanilla stereotype, and yeah it impressed people.

If trump loses, then probably a lot of violence from the right wing. Otherwise if he wins, probably only a little violence from the right wing.

It works well for them, and it's a huge unnecessary problem for us. Stuff like healthcare for instance, or education. These are things that affect pretty much everyone in ways bigger than what you are talking about imo.

The whole "doesn't represent the real world" thing is kind of a weird thing to say because it's like yeah, we know Trump is awful to anyone with a modicum of perception, but at least there are other people who are unscrupulous too, right? Let's take comfort in that.

I would be upset, but it's not end of the world material. I would hope it would merely be a temporary inconvenience.
