Used to get that all the time, even when wrapping reasonable well. The friction will eventually do that. Not the worst thing in the world, you could sooth it with some vaseline or summat. Could look bad if you go somewhere important though, like a job interview and whatnot.

i got some of those fingerless wrist wrap gloves from everlast that work pretty well...
im not really training tho, just hit the bag for cardio.

Wrapping is part of it, but technique as well. If your hands are banged up that bad after a single session, you're curving your punches and scraping them along the bag on contact. Just like lifting, striking should focus on good form over raw power and injuries are often a result of failure to do the former.

Next time focus on making sure your jabs are straight and clean. Keep your elbows tucked, make sure what you're aiming for is roughly the same height as your solar plexus, and try to avoid "pushing" after contact and dragging your knuckles across the bag.

Wear gloves man. Punching with just wraps or small gloves is not worth it. Do it one round once in a while at best.

Also looks like you are punching with the wrong part of your hand a lot. Use your knuckles, not your fingers.

Yea, going to get some. Also, it the knuckle that bleeding and spread to my hand.
