I am convinced I'm being actively abused by my brother, and in other ways my ex as well.

I don't wanna do this and I dont know too much about it yet, but if it's a reasonable option I might have to. I looked it up and it seems to fit my situation. Has anyone had any experience with this?

I was bailed out again, by a friend that is already over 3k in debt because of me.

I told him if I dont talk to my brother within the next week do not ever give me money again no matter how much I ask. So I guess I gotta do it now

Do this. I understand things are hard right now, and I'm sorry for that but these topics always turn into people giving you advice over and over and then you tell us you can't do do it, or ignore it.

Is this you asking for helping or needing just to vent? like we're here for that too, but a lot of people try and assist to no avail.
It's both.

It is hard living with TWO abusers.

For those less up to date on your backstory, what is the deal with your brother?
Hes likely heavily autistic and views the world differently from almost everyone. Has a lot of built up anger issues from being verbally abused by our family particularly our grandmother. We were homeschooled and sheltered for 20+ years and have lived together our whole lives so we are stuck together like glue.

Hes had jobs but most of them haven't lasted. He absolutely hates capitalism, and anything to do with not having money will send him into a frenzy. Hes wanting me to help him pay for shit so he can stay motivated to work towards getting a job and helping out

Not sure what you mean by 'his staples'.
If you mean confronting him it WILL make things worse.

By staples, in this case we need milk and his frozen fruits and I'm completely broke.

The thing about this is that it might make you feel better, but it won't solve your immediate problems. It may make things worse.

So just park it for a while. Concentrate on taking the practical, positive steps to sort out your lifestyle and your finances. That will also help with your despondency. If you can establish a healthy routine of personal care, sleep, work, chores, and getting shit done, you are going to feel a lot better.

And maybe then you can think about confronting your brother.
The problem is I am needing to ask for money literally every day now. I'm currently sitting with zero dollars and he's wanting to replace his staples today, but I legitimately don't know how I'm gonna do it. If I don't find a way, the entire night comes crashing down and it will affect me long term.

One thing that would solve a lot of my despondency is finally standing up to my brother and telling him he is literally ruining my life, and I can't afford to keep up what I've been doing and that it simply won't happen anymore.

Unfortunately he has intense meltdowns that I don't know how to deal with. Combine that with my empathy for him and my childhood trauma and it's the single hardest thing I've ever had to do. I've also lived with him for 32 years, so I have a pretty damn good idea of what his reactions will be.

So youve been struggling forever but constantly make excuses to not fix them.

get a job, you have freedom, get 2 or 3 jobs. Go to a warehouse or factory.

you cant expect to support numerous people and new pets and do gaming and shit working part time at a job 15 year olds can get.
you need to man up and quit doing the nonstop pity party

you literally had people all over supporting you for years while you game, you have friends supporting you. You cant live a life expecting and wanting every friend and person you know to support both you and your brother and no do anything to support yourself
What excuses am I making? Getting one job with no reliable means of transport is hard enough, and you're telling me to find three.

I'm trying to get to the point where I no longer need help from others. I can't even take care of myself right now.

I know people said I brush a lot of things off. I'm not trying to, I'm just so overwhelmed I can barely manage to do anything. Almost every hour of the day I am trying to figure out how to prevent my situation from completely falling apart, and most situations I try to resolve in the very short term. I am somehow still like 40-50 dollars short of what I actually need today.

Not meant to be an excuse. I'm not sure I really have one. It's just so hard to do anything when most things are just a tiny little stepping stone out, and I could fall at any time.

I'll try to keep a note of what you said, and hope it doesn't leave my mind.

okay. So get home, breathe, hydrate and then do as he said.
I'm home now.

I don't know what you guys mean by steps. Essentially, the ultimate goal is to get a stable job so I won't wreck everyone's bank accounts trying to help me and my brother out. Having a consistent flow of money to get what we need is what is keeping him stable. So while I've been looking for work, I am constantly trying to find ways to get money so i can keep stocked on things. My brother needs his spirits kept up consistently or he will tank and completely lose motivation to get a job, and I will likely remain stuck.

Leaving him behind is technically an option but it's something I'd naturally rather not do. It would also cause all kinds of emotional and domestic bullshit that would probably cause me more pain than even what I'm going through now.

I have an online friend who's been helping me for several months to the point where he is now in massive debt and simply said he can't do it anymore.

Now, I don't know what to do. My ex isn't helping me as much now, and she's always broke anyway. I have absolutely nothing to my name, and without people to "pull" from, my specific situation is gonna come crashing down hard. Another friend who is sort of like a guidance counselor to me and who has been keeping me afloat is running into massive credit card debt, and he hasn't been able to help much either.

You really need to start getting your shit together.

Getting your brother's disability benefit, getting your food stamps, keeping regular hours, making sure your paperwork (including your ID) is dealt with in a timely matter.

Musing about adopting cats and buying consoles on credit is not helping yourself.

How good of an employee were you at your job for them to cut your shifts and fire you so quickly?

I know this sounds harsh, and I hate saying it because I'm not a 'tell it like it is' 'tough love' person. But you have had so much help from people on this board. (It's been heartwarming, to be honest). And most of it you have ignored or dismissed.

Start telling us all the steps you are actively taking to improve your situation. I'm sure people will help out if you miss anything you could be doing.

If youre only working 12 hours a week you need a new job. Also you can cut the internet bill.its not essential.

if you want more money get a better job with more hours. Go to any warehouse/factory job, go to a gas station, the types that make food, they usually offer higher pay and benefits.
or at least get a second job.

you cant just work a little part time and expect to adopt animals and support other people at a teenagers job.

and your friend shouldnt have to keep supporting or helping you when you arent trying to do it yourself so much
I haven't spent anything on the adoption. It's really not my decision since my roommate and I aren't dating anymore. It seems like she's wanting our money to be largely separate now.

I am trying to help myself but I am sure there are things I can do better on.

No I can send it in today. I was waiting on my manager to send me the paystub. The cat wasn't really up to me.

I work at Burger King. I got sent home today, so I left with only 40 minutes of work.

My brothers currently actively applying for jobs which is why we haven't been pursuing disability these last couple weeks. I only made 291 dollars today and almost all of it is gone already. I won't have EBT this week, my bike was stolen while I was at work, and I'll basically be running dry for two weeks only to make even less than that.

In other words I'm pretty much back where I started. My only hope is that they actually approve me for EBT, but until then I'm totally fucked. It isn't just food that I have to worry about, but it's one of the bigger factors.

I get paid today, and I already know like 80% of it is gone. The rest will probably go to food. I owe $161 cumulatively on the phone and internet, which is already going to be close to half of what I make in two weeks. These are essential bills that can't be skipped.

I just had my food stamp interview but I gotta send in verification and wait on that to go through. One friend who kept helping me get by told me yesterday he's gonna have to stop.

I'm making like $350 every two weeks. I don't understand how I'm supposed to do this. I really fucking hope I get EBT, because I'm tired of needing assistance from my friends every five seconds. Money is gone faster than you can blink.

We just lost one of ours, and this one has been hanging around our porch wanting pets and food for ages. So we finally took the plunge and brought it inside. It stayed for about 48 hours, but as soon as I came in from the store it stormed out of the apartment and went downstairs.

I don't know how old the cat is, but it's definitely not a kitten. It absolutely hates our other cat and hid under the couch for most of the time it's been here. Any tips for luring it back? Or is it possible it will refuse to be an indoor kitty at all? I live in an apartment complex, so it could be anywhere. Pic for tax

Farming Simulator series.

I play each title for thousands of hours. It is pretty much something I play continuously all the time in between other games I play. There is no "end" to it or way to complete it. It is just open ended freedom so unlike other games I never finish it.

It is absolutely the king of the simulator genre and I'm an absolute fanboy that has been in love with the series for a solid decade. I can't talk positively enough about it. I find it so relaxing and can kill hours and hours just zoning out and doing field work with my tractors.

What I love the most is how there are multiple ways to accomplish the same goal and how you want to go about doing it. Something as simple as feeding your cows actually has a lot of choice involved, and a lot of different equipment involved in the making of that food. Seriously such an awesome series. The amount and variation of equipment is staggering and never gets tiring.
Would you recommend it over Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons?

I've said this before but I think behind all my stress and depression I would not only be back to my old self, but I could finally explore my girl side. Of course, now that I have a job that might eventually be possible, but when I'm constantly on the ground being stomped on, I barely even have time to THINK about what it would actually be like to be a woman.

I have moments where I'm more calm than others and that's usually when that side of me starts coming out. But I have neither the money, time, or energy to explore it further. Even though I'm actually kind of upset right now about other things, last few days I've been fantasizing about being a girl again.

Idk I'm just talking to the void. Don't mind me
