I honestly think Homelander is going to somehow lose his powers and die after life in jail (or even commit suicide), while Butcher is going to gain permanent powers and live forever passing judgment on all supes as penance or something like that.

It's definitely hitting something in the middle and then falling through.

I honestly assume Homelander has to concentrate to some extent to use his super hearing and xray vision. There are a lot of times when he should seemingly notice this or that, but he just doesn't give enough of a shit to put that much effort into the world.

If Homelander wasn't so lazy due to his powers, he'd be fucking terrifying.
