I subbed to Premier ~10 years ago for 20 bucks a month vs a one time fee of $800, since I wasn't sure if I would like it.

11 years later, instead of me keeping it once 800 or whatever was reached, it kept going. Pretty sure I've paid $2500+ so far

Adobe deserves this, they are super scummy. I have literally signed up for Adobe through chat by asking them questions about cancellation, being assured that I can cancel with no penalty, and then months later, being told there was a cancellation fee. And the cancellation fee was something like half of your remaining term in full - so if you had a hardship after 2 months and needed to cancel, they would charge you 5 months worth. That's insane.

I hope they lose the battle and have to pay out, and have to change their model. Fuck paying $30-60 a month for something like Photoshop.

That's incredibly stupid. Especially given their new terms of use requiring you be subjected to their AI learning to scan whatever you're making (a severe breach in security for top-secret projects!), they punish you for trying to cancel if you don't agree.

Worse yet, you can't even cancel your subscription unless you accept the terms to get into your account. This company needs to be burned.
