They all believe themselves to be world-class intellectuals, but not one of them is. Frustrating how many people seem to worship these dudes. It was a really weird space, and I don't think it was worth any of the time I spent in it.

They were really solid mid 70s to early 80s. Rumours is a strong album with stuff like Go Your Own Way, Gold Dust Woman, and The Chain as well.

Alien doesn't necessarily mean intelligent or advanced. A notpig living on some other planet is an alien to us just as an Earth cockroach would be an alien to them.

If they got all the way over here, they're probably pretty smart. That being said, I'm in the alien haven't visited us camp.

Unlike the other big ones, they seem like they're all having a genuinely good time. No one is doing that fake uncontrollable laughter you see on a lot of them. They're also funny as fuck.

Yeah no, she's awful. For whatever reason I think the first half hour is pure suffering but after that it turns into a very good movie. I was honestly surprised how much it held my attention and the sex scenes are completely fucking bonkers along with the insane tonal whiplash through the movie. I like it though, the cast is insane, there's more than a few funny moments and it is just untethered as far as the many strange twists the story takes.

I think it would be a fun movie to air in theaters ala the Room or Rocky Horror if it wasn't for the gang rape scene.

You could easily do a dream headcannon. She smashes Molly's car, claws at her, pukes in front of her, then they become friends. She assaults james, but he bails her out. There are some other things I remember, but I've only seen it once. Her actions don't match what would happen in the real world. She's mean as shit, but everyone wants to instantly be her friend. And you got the stuff that doesn't even make sense, like the Doggy Chow or chimps. It's just so fucking weird

TC may like The Stormlight Archive series. It's pretty different than your typical fantasy world. The weather, geography, plants, animals, and weather are all part of the world building.

Should authors be pulling out woulds unlike anything ever seen or written about from their heads?
It's kind of like pointing out that sci-fi alway mirrors modern technology, and not some new technology no author or scientist has ever thought of.

I'm currently about to get some in Milwaukee, I'm hearing tornado sirens from the neighboring counties as it approaches.

So, not a fan right now lol

Waukesha. Same. I'm outside watching it come in. It's kind of wack that they sound the sirens for storms capable of producing a tornado. It's happened so many times, with no tornado, it almost luls you in to not taking it seriously.
