I actually think the push towards realism takes away from the fantasy aspect. I'd like to see a return to more stylized graphics in games. The the landscapes and textures are too influenced by the engine for realistic look. I don't particularly care about high-end graphics, I want them to create a world.

This scene really frustrated me too. He should have just run. I was watching with my friend, and was just yelling at him to bounce lol.

It's a zombie action movie so it's plot, petty simple. What makes this movie interesting is the premise and what they do with it.

Yeah I wouldn't call it that. I think part of its insanity was the appeal.

The insanity was part of the appeal, but it was still put together. It had good cinematography. The pacing was good - fast, but a few well timed moments of relief. It had some great performances. An intriguing plot. A basis in reality. It had fantastic special effects. What sort of stuff did you find to be lacking?

My brother used to have this ridiculous hammock tent thing. It hung between two trees like a hammock, but instead of being flat, it was a 6' long bag thing that hung below the ropes and zipped up like a tent.

I can confirm that ether is a horrible idea.
I went insane. My friends recorded it on a tape recorder. I was speaking what sounded like some Asian gibberish, frustrated that no one could understand me. I then went out to the garbage and pulled a box out and tried to sit in it for 15 minutes, but kept falling over. I finally sat in it, flattened it, and passed out before my friends carried me in.

Is the movie really that graphic? I love Garth Ennis as a writer, but I won't even attempt to defend him with Crossed. That was just him being mean-spirited for the hell of it (which is something he's done regularly in career unfortunately).

Well, as GeminiDeus pointed out, a girl has her eye stabbed out with and umbrella, then later a guy uses her eye socket fot...things. The camera cuts away, so they do show some restraint. Wich, I think was the right move. If you like violent and/or zombie movies, this movie will almost certainly deliver.

Well, I just finished. Enjoyed the movie and it was pretty messed up in some parts, most in particular for me was the girl who got stabbed in the eye and then the thing that happened to her at the hospital later. The hand grenade scene was hilarious, though. One of the most horrific reveals was that the infected were fully aware of what they were doing but were incapable of stopping themselves.

Good movie, thanks for letting me know it exists.

Yeah, they did a good job going for a unique angle on the zombie genre.

The devs would have been forced to alter the game so it's easier for people who refused to get better at it.
