Yeah unfortunately there were no buyers. People aren't consuming as many apples as they used to due to high prices set by grocery stores

Washington is one of the prettiest states imo

So you dump them in the middle of nowhere? I see mountians in the back too. Apples grow in a handful of places very well. That doesnt look like any of those places. There's not a tree in sight.

Now from someone who grew pecans. I avged 4k to 6k lbs a year. I usually sold 5k of that. year. The rest were frozen in case I got any more calls for them. I usually ran out before the season began again

If you live in rural area you can have one of those honest farm stands. Where you just put all this food out and say 5 dollars for a 5 apples. And have people put the money in a lock box. And get their apples.

This was about half of what my business was. Hey you got produce to unload. We will take it. It's from local farmers and people would rather buy from us than say a grocery store like Wal-Mart or Winn-Dixie. From Who knows where. There was a few exceptions though. My friends family grew citrus in South Florida and shipped it north. They set aside some for us.
