The logic of 'I want to scan this guy so let's lynch the person who wants to lynch him' is bad and makes me think that Ulti could be claiming Lopen's role and that Red is the Godfather and Ulti wants to get the scan off here tonight.

because if we think someone is scum we should lynch them, not keep them around to be scanned. What if red is godfather and you think you've confirmed him?

He still gives logic for why we should lynch Corrik instead, but going from 'I'd shoot him peaf right now if I could' to 'I'm not voting peaf even when he's tied with Corrik, let's lynch Corrik instead' doesn't feel like this INCONCIEVABLE PROOF that peaf/red can't possibly be scum together

Blade proposed that scum is strong and town is weak because the scum team is only 4, with a third party floating out there as well.

If Ben can't be scum (which does track to me - if scum Ben knew that MZero was going to taunt SBell, I don't think they shoot SBell last night) then, if Blade's theory is right, I think Ben is the +1

I don't know if there are scum characters that would fit Ben's role but there are some 3P options that have already been discussed (Chang, Glee Club, Laybourne)

I'm glad we learned there was a clear flavor split before I had to claim. While Pierce is ultimately a good guy, he is sometimes played as the jerk of the group, but at the end of the day he doesn't have an "Evil" version like the others do. The other 6 turn evil because in that timeline Pierce was accidentally killed by the gun from Annie's purse.

This is a fair point, which just makes me thing the 4 + 1 theory is right and Ben is the +1.

As much as I agree with too many vanillas (and brought it up myself!) ...I think I'm most interested in lynching Ben today. His flavor and his role don't make sense with the rest of this town. I don't buy it.

This is a bad post. I made a post expressing doubt over the claims then continued to post analyzing things in more detail and came to the conclusion that the majority of the claims had to be real. It's cherry picking an older thing I said and already worked through to make me look bad.

If anything I think Lopen had something OP that scum can't fake

Like taunter is kind of weak
The lawyer had a different take on it but isn't really any different than a standard lawyer
Vigilante with a side quest is weaker than just a normal vigilante
Doc/JK/Cop are standard

Frame town, SBell claims he knows who killed at night. They get lynched and flip town. SBell might get lynched the next day!

Two extremely strong Mafia roles while everything town has seems... standard.

Town feels very, very weak comparatively

Knightz had one of the most powerful Mafia roles I've ever seen and convinced people that we might be looking closer at role madness than anything.

For town flips, SBell's role seems very powerful upon reading it but it is 100% countered by Wallz role. And in fact, would probably lead to at least one mislynch if SBell revealed information that was obscured by Wallz power.

Mafia seems very, very strong based on these two roles!

I suppose. If it could be fired at day I'd assume it could also be fired at night and scum would be in the same position of not being able to stop it.

So I guess it's best for it to not be known. I'll rescind my question and just hope that when he gets it it'll be clear that it wasn't a scum kill.

If IGCD is town, after he gets his shot they can't block him at night so they can't prevent the kill no matter what

Like I have IGCD as town because of his claim and no other town killing roles but he hasn't exactly seemed like town based on claim

Buddy was in all of 1 episode. He wanted to join the study group but he was annoying and none of them liked him. They eventually relented and said he could join them, but then a different study group invited him to hang out with them instead and he left to never be seen again.

This is, by far, my biggest hesitation. If Lopen was cop and scum is going to use the claim the easiest way to prevent giving info is scanning the guy who got killed.

Im Frankie Dart, the cop. Yes, I somehow rolled cop two games in a row.

I made my scans very very obvious, in order I went ctes/Death/SBell. Scanned ctes night 1 because I wanted to just repeat last game. Scanned Death because Death should always be scanned. Scanned SBell because surely scum wont kill him early again.

So were at a very simple game state. We lynch Ben today. If I die tonight, Blade gets lynched tomorrow and no one else. If hes the real town doctor, he is to keep me alive so I can scan again. With any other outcome, he is tomorrows lynch.

aka, if Blade is scum he is now 100% cornered no matter what. If hes angry town, hell end up dead tonight and I get another scan.

so ctes and death are NOT confirmed
