I feel like this is a good point. How do you tamper your own food? It'd be one thing if they gave it to the bully, but the bully stole it. "Setting a trap" and "tampering with food" sounds more appropriate if it was the bully's drink to begin with.

I don't get the defense that the pipes weren't buried enough. Sure, it might be a code issue,but him making a u-turn on the grass instead of reversing out of the driveway seems to be ignored.

There would have to be a reasonable expectation from the driver that such a thing could occur from their actions, and pipes not being up to code is not a reasonable expectation. Itd be different if they, say, drove over something visible above ground, but what they did in and of itself isnt something theyd be likely to be found liable for.

To be fair, I'm pretty sure the story suggests the character literally just plays drums and the dog decides to off itself. It's not like they strangled it. That was also painted to be the intention, but there's a degree of separation, and it's why it's supposed to be more comical in presentation.

Amazon keeps fucking up the address and then usps gets it to me, it's happened a handful of times where the original handoff to usps was already wrong

Amazon would only be using the address on file, they don't really do anything but hand it off to the shipping partner with that info. Said shipping partner then scans it into their system and prints a tag, so chances are USPS's system is somehow screwing it up when they input the info.

EDIT: Chances are, USPS's system doesn't like something about how the address is input and tries to "Correct" it automatically.

Pretty much any disaster "could be worse." The point is you don't say that when it's a huge fucking disaster, like this one is. It's dismissive of how bad it actually is.

At the end of the day, WWE trademarks all this shit so that they own the wrestlers identities. Its why they pretty much never let anybody wrestle under their real name or a name they own the rights to.

All this is is Rock finally getting to own the stuff he made famous in WWE instead of WWE still owning it all. It was already trademarked long ago.

Thats not how IP rights work. They didnt trademark the phrase, they trademarked it specifically as a noun/name, presumably to keep other wrestlers from calling their move the Rock Bottom and capitalizing off the name, or even possibly trademarking it themselves. If it can be trademarked, somebody inevitably will.
