I think it's that they were the same size physically by different resolutions, which means they don't spit out the same if you're trying to match res?

DS games would just be two differently sized boxes next to each other. It's how emulation does it. There is no better way.

Such a weird way to copy Astrobot.

They literally showed the exact same monkey handle grip game. Like, it has the same exact feel to it even.

Lost to Koleda in 30 pulls but got Trigger less than 20 later. Even with the loss that's my best luck in a long time.

That's also C3 Koleda, so game is continuing to push back against me pulling on a Lighter rerun.

$80 games. Fucking unreal. Nintendo games already cost more than they should at $60 half the time.

Confirmed $10 to upgrade games if they have no new content. $20 to upgrade games if they have new content.

If they're straight up saying "games that have no new content will cost money to upgrade", then if no upgrades exists I think we can safely say the game will get no increase in performance.

Path of Radiance also just finally got it's mod tools in a workable state for good Romhacks a couple months ago (the last FE game to do so, somehow, wierd coding I guess), so in reality it might be too little too late for the community to care lol.

That entire press release is about it being a multiplayer game at it's core and it's all about how it's multiplayer, are you seeing something I'm not?

I can't stress enough how much Blodbrone saved this whole thing. Switch games not natively running better on Switch 2 was a deal breaker for me, the fact that.trhye could recover from that is patently absurd, but they found a way.

As someone who has stated at Elden Ring for hundreds of hours in just the last few months...I cannot help but notice...that footage looked iffy!

Could just be a wierdly cut trailer.

The implication to me of the paid upgrade versions means that games that don't get them will run exactly the same on Switch 2 as they did on Switch 1.

So the dream is probably dead.

I loved it this game. It got a bit bloated towards the end, way too many items for the last few chapters, the idea that I would go to the Secret Shop in the penultimate chapter is ludicrous. The game was definitely LONG, but not deservedly so. The only real complaint I have that's a real issue is the inventory. You get a buff to it partway through to raise it to 200. That's LAUGHBALE. Management going into the last few maps took literally hours because of how much I had to juggle stuff around. If you're going to fill your Romhack with tons of unique equipment and items then you need to buff the storage, should have been double what it was. Maybe that's a GBA limitation, though.

I would say I liked this even more that Dark Lord, even if that game was a more clean, faithful experience. Dark Lord there's really no indication it's a romhack outside of the optional dev notes in the prep menu. This game never lets you forget it's a romhack. Total opposite ends of the spectrum.
