I've had so many MRIs done, it's not even funny.

There's a very very mild claustrophobia for me, in the sense that I worry what happens if there's an emergency, but that goes away quickly.

For me the hardest part is staying still. I've never been the type that likes to stay in one spot for too long.

I have a kettle, but I wish it was like the ones in the UK that boil super fast.

rice never burns or sticks to the sides/bottom like when using a pot. i make rice daily and cleaning rice stuck to the bottom can get pretty annoying.
with the rice cooker, i just measure the water and rice for the portion i want, press a button, and wait. it can keep rice warm throughout the day (aka perfect for me) and cleaning it is super easy cus like 3-5 grains stick to it and that's it.

it can also do slow cooking and steaming which is cool, cus a lot of times i wanna heat up chili i made then froze, or steam some broccoli and not have to worry about using the stove/pans/the full sized slow cooker.

it's pretty great cus i can basically pick my food for that day, whether its rice or chili, or whatever. put it in the rice cooker, and then i have hot food waiting for me whenever i get hungry.
i originally bought it when i had an office job, and would just fill it at home and bring it with me to work, but now i just use it at home as a "do everything in small portions" type of thing.

I need some kind of kettleelectric or stovetop. But Id prefer something akin to the electric hot water dispensers that are stationary with a downward spout common in Japan.

i have one and love it. my two best "cheap appliance" purchases ever are an electric kettle and a rice cooker.

I have one, but it really needs to be cleaned if it is ever to be used again. I may just need to replace it as I am not sure if it is safe even if cleaned.

I always thought of it more as when somebody who isnt religious finds themselves in an overwhelming, dire situation to suddenly start hoping there is a god that will save them or someone else. Like the oh man, just get me out of this one, etc. It seems like an instinctual reaction for many and doesnt necessarily mean they have suddenly found god or a higher power. I try not to read too much into it other than a hope for survival.

When in reality they're probably just more knowledgeable/socially aware than their parents and don't necessarily have too much more raw intelligence.
