Gonna go ahead and post this again if you care even a little bit about content that got removed in the remastered versions. One of those removed pieces of content was a dlc set of costumes that changes the battle music when worn. But since you have it on Steam now you can mod it back in if you want.

I'd be happy to get it for that price if I didn't already have the ps4 version.

Buy plant fertilizer and feed your houseplant every 16 days for some free Kindness, with more expensive fertilizers giving you more Kindness. P5 Royal also added the option to clean Leblanc for kindness points and Sojiro points at the same time if you wanna kill two birds with one stone. It's a pretty good way to spend your nights since you're not allowed to leave at night early on.

Lastly, use a mod to restore the Raidou Kuzunoha costume that was available in the PS4 version, and removed in remaster versions. Why? Cause it's a cool costume and it changes the battle music like most of Joker's costumes, and remasters literally removing content makes me sad.

Fe6, Fe8. Both have manakete characters who are many centuries older than the main cast, while still being treated as children relative to how their species matures.

It's even more annoying from a completionist perspective because there's an achievement for beating it without "taking damage", but IIRC you don't lose rings when you take a hit in that fight so it's hard to actually tell when you've "taken damage" sometimes. Screw that fight forever, almost feels worse than Sonic 06's super fight somehow. Almost.

Noice. I never got around to 100%ing it or Miles Morales until I played the PS5 version. Even got Ultimate rank in all the Taskmaster/Screwball/training missions. Couldn't tell if you that was because I got better or because playing them at 60 fps made me better. (Also watch the SnapCube fandub it's kinda funny.)

Fair enough. I won't go all out on defending that series's writing because frankly, it really isn't that good. As far as the light novels go, I'm actually more invested in the Hero Gold Hair plotlines. He got some decent character development after eating a lot of humble pie, to the point that he's still kind of a scoundrel, but he does genuinely care for his allies now, and he has to rely on clever use of his Drilldozer Shovel to get by.

For real? You kinda threw me off when you described the ragtag bunch of freeloaders that stay with him just because they like him as a person as his harem. Flio is happily monogamous, Rys is so aggressively territorial that she can sense when another woman has inappropriate thoughts about her man and can intimidate them with her raw killing intent even from miles away, and most of the people that live on his property have their own lives, jobs and relationships outside of working for him. It's kind of a reverse of the usual isekai harem trope, where instead of the MC having a harem, it's actually some of the MC's friends, associates, and former enemies who have their own harems. Most notable examples from what hasn't been adapted in the anime being Gholl (married to Uliminas and Balirossa), Hugi-Mugi (married to three human women), and Hero Gold Hair (implied that most/all of his traveling companions are in love with him). Flio himself, however? Firmly in the monogamy is poggers camp.

Unfortunately, not that comes to mind. The closest that comes to mind is one in which the MC is at least against slavery to the level that he doesn't get slaves when he is given the option. That said it still falls just shy of the standard "MC is against slaves but still has them" in that while he doesn't have slaves he has a harem that have no agency outside of his own whims to the level that they are effectively slaves.

Boo. One of my favorite parts of Chillin in Another World with my Level 2 Super Cheat Powers was the MC actually coming from a world where slavery is common, and actively refusing to bring that practice over to the world that summoned him. Even when given the option to forcefully subjugate a powerful demon he's just like, "no, I'm not letting that shit poison this world!" I blame Shield Hero for making it such a popular trope. Is it fair to blame Shield Hero? Cause I'm gonna blame it anyway.

For anyone ITT who watches more isekai and fantasy series than I do, I want to know...anything at least watchable where the MC is violently opposed to slavery? I don't even care if it's harem slop, I'm just suddenly in the mood to see some fictional slavers get their comeuppance.

Anyone here watch the TWEWY anime? I wanna know if it's a decent enough way to experience the story. I'm still somewhat early in Week 2 last I recall, and I just can't be bothered to make time for it lately.

On the one hand, the safe thing is stupid. On the other hand, even after losing all his money at the end of 4 he's still enough of a gigachad to earn it all back, and open another branch in an entirely different city. Man just does not care enough to secure his fortune because he knows he has enough plot armor to earn it all back.

Be very selective with what abilities you pick for the second protagonist early on, he'll make you wish you were playing 3 again if you build him wrong.

Skill issue, I'm gonna die on that hill. Joji and Mine are two of the best designed fights in the Kiryu saga, no way the combat is bad when it has two of the peakest fights in the series.

For me it's lowkey all of them now, the world building is seriously lacking at times. I actually prefer fanfiction over revisiting canon material these days. At least some fanfiction authors make an attempt at fleshing out the world and some side characters, even if they do miss the mark more often than not.

Artifact grind does suck, but I have a few friends that have straight up quit Genshin because of how bad the dialogue is. Generally, the Archon Quests are fine, but any side quests or events do not need 10+ minute dialogue repeating the same jokes about Paimon being hungry and shit. I've never seen anyone quit over bad artifact RNG lmao.

Nah dawg, get through a story scene once and it's done, relic farming never fucking ends. I've been farming for relics for March 7th Hunt for nearly a month now and I've barely made any progress on her. Robin's waiting on me to farm another 2 pc relic set, meanwhile here's slow-ass motherfucking March who still needs three decent relics to finish her 4 pc.

Ironically the character/weapon gacha isn't even the worst part of mihoyo games. It's being at the mercy of rolling good main stats and good sub stats to make your characters actually useful. If I was still completely f2p I would've dropped HSR over bad relic RNG months ago.

That being said I will defend the above mentioned Azur Lane just a teensy bit. There are some genuinely cool designs buried beneath all the shameless horny, and it's legitimately f2p friendly in a way most gacha games aren't. SR characters have very reasonable pull rates even without banners, when pulling on banners I rarely struggle to pull the characters I actually want. I'm currently sitting on over 1,000 wisdom cubes right now just from logging in for dailies and events, I actually am still f2p in that game, and I generally don't struggle with pulling the characters I actually want to pull when I do pull on a banner that interests me.

Wait hold up, did the Steam version always have subtitles or is that new too? I remember this one boss that took place in a burning room, and I had no idea what she was yammering on about because the fire drowned out her voice and there weren't any in-cutscene subtitles on the console versions.

For a show that started out wholesome, episodes 2 and 3 of Goodbye Dragon Life just kinda blasts you with two out of pocket scenes and I'm just sitting here like, why you gotta be weird like that, bruh? I'm really hoping it'll tone down the casually weird parts now that they're leaving the village, cause those two scenes were fuckin' weird. No I don't want to talk about it.

Yeah, Steam version with mods. In SA1's case, each successive port makes it worse in some way, such as collision bugs, changed textures, fucked lighting at night, stuff like that. Mods can fix all that, and make the entire game look more like the Dreamcast version, which imo actually looks better in some ways. I also played with some quailty of life mods that made it more fun, like instant light speed dash, a mod that lets Tails follow Sonic when narratively appropriate and in post-game, a fast travel mod, and playable Super Sonic after clearing last story. Recommend using PkR's mod loader since it comes with most of the necessary mods anyway, and it's still being supported.

I don't know as much about SA2 modding since I haven't played the PC version yet. I do know that treasure hunting stages feel worse to play since it nerfs the radar to only track one emerald at a time, whereas SA1 let you track any emerald in any order. So at the very least I'd recommend picking up a radar mod for that game. SA2's ports just aren't as fundamentally fucked over as SA1, so comparatively there isn't as much that needs to be changed.

If you haven't already fought that boss in particular, make sure you do it during the Astarte boss, after Jonathan gets tempted by her, and after the fight, it's pretty funny.

Episode 3 is about a European princess who is actually a lesbian, and wants to leave the royal family so she can be with her lover. I mostly just thought that was a really sweet storyline, I guess. But I also like the main "fake" couple, so if that's boring then, I dunno, maybe give it another couple episodes? I don't actually watch that much romance anime, so whenever I do find one that actually hooks me it just feels fresher than most.

Have you been using the talk feature in the menu? You can get some funny interactions from that, like for example during a particular female boss fight that can seduce Jonathan, Charlotte will have something to say about it if he gets hit by that.

I really just want to see the rest of Silver Spoon get an anime adaptation. For those who haven't read or watched, it's about a kid who moves from an urban city to a rural farming school to get away from his father for being a strict asshole, and having to adapt to a new way of life that living in a city didn't prepare him for. It's a shame the anime ended when it did because the manga gave his dad some actual character development, and they even reconcile a bit. One of my favorite gags from the manga is every instance where someone mistakes his dad for a Yakuza member and acts overly polite cause they're scared of pissing him off, and the scene where Hachiken finally gets to ask out his crush without some comedic interruption was really sweet.

Most bonus modes lack leveling up entirely, but in those cases your bonus character starts out strong enough that they decimate early game areas, and the difficulty curve typically evens out later. In all the DS games, bonus modes have leveling up, but no inventories.

I definitely did not have "ancient dragons are absolute himbos with zero common sense regarding human propriety standards" on my bingo card for this series. But I will admit that this scene made me laugh, and that it's a rare instance of a himbo MC who sorta deserved being slapped here.

I liked to use katanas for most of the game cause IIRC they're the only weapon in Dawn where you can cancel the attack animation by landing. Tbh, I don't actually remember much of what's optimal for Soma since most of my replays were in Julius mode.

Do you plan on dipping into the 3D titles? SA1 with mods, Generations and Frontiers are my favorites.

Good heavens no. IMO it's a mostly inferior version of Rondo of Blood and the final boss is blatantly unfair dog water. Only one Classicvania on the SNES is worth playing, and that one is IV.

Anyone else giving Goodbye Dragon Life, Hello Human Life a shot? MC being a reincarnated dragon is a fun twist on the reincarnation genre. I think. Maybe. Not my preferred genre so I don't have a great frame of reference here. Celina is a total goober, can't wait to see more of her.
