I mean I think they revealed themselves to be full of shit when they announced The Answer DLC before the game even launched. There is no "vision" here.

Truly, honestly, the best case scenario you are asking for here with a P3R style remake is that you get an initial overhaul that has some basic, non-Golden QoL features, and then have to shell out more money later for the bulk of the Golden additions (including Marie).

Unlike P3P, Golden isn't a weird non-canon sidegrade to the original game (as much as you may want it to be), it's a straight port with additional content. Not really comparable.

I truly don't know what the point of this would be since Golden exists and they just ported it to PC. There's not much to gain from an update unless you're overhauling a lot of the writing or something.

The dot team usually mercs the robots but without Nihility path the damage wasn't there. I usually do not have the weaknesses for Argenti or Swarm, though my aoe was pretty good this run so I maybe could have handled swarm...

I also didn't get enough Preservation blessings for the final resonance because I was going for the interplays for collection. Probably a mistake. I feel like a lot more of the interplays in G&G are traps. The destruction one here sucks.

Had a really bizarre run of G&G conundrum 4 that ended with the dual robot boss. I was running Kafka/Swan/Ruan Mei/Gepard on Preservation blessing. First two phases went down fairly easy but in the third phase their speed was boosted so high the enemies would take like 8 actions in a row and delete all my shields and kill my guys. There wasn't really anything I could do about that, I didn't have the DPS or speed or whatever to prevent it. But...they couldn't kill Gepard. He'd get hit enough to get his ult back every turn and charge up the Path Resonance in the process. I left it on auto for like 20 minutes but it was a stalemate because of how you have to kill both bosses simultaneously or they revive.

I guess C3 is my limit for now, but also I'm only like 60% through the upgrade tree so I can just grind that out on lower difficulties and get through all these crappy dice challenges too.

In the case of Yakuza/LAD, I would say that for one thing it is not meaningfully "open world" in the same way that an Ubisoft game or even Xenoblade is. The thing there is small but dense maps with high detail but only specific ways to interact. They also manage to have such high fidelity while pumping out releases because they reuse tons of assets every time. Which is a good thing imo, but in some ways that's opposed to the blockbuster AAA model of shiny new things. See also Tears of the Kingdom reusing the Hyrule map, and how that had mixed reception.

MHY sidequests basically come in two varieties: bloated nothing stories that you mostly skip through the text or stabbing you in the chest with the most depressing shit you've ever seen

You can make open world games affordably they just dont look like Spider-Man 2. But also, Immortals of Aveum cost $125m. Those budgets need to come down.

Breath of the Wild would not be an exception here. Half of the budget of the Sony Spider-Man games is still $150-200 million. Granted, I don't think we actually know Nintendo budgets because they're very opaque, but another part of the issue isn't just fidelity but development time going up (ie longer time paying all the developers), and games take years and years to make.

They said "entering the latter half" of the console cycle which means we probably have another 4-5 years before PS6. If the industry is even in good position for that in 2028.

Ah I'm just now looking at Aventurine's kit in more detail and realizing he applies 1 or 2 debuffs, which is very good with Ratio because currently no sustains have debuffs unless you use that stupid burn chance Preservation cone. If that's true it decides which sustain I'm going for. Very important addition to the "IPC members who suck" comp.

Planar Fissure event next week so spend or save your Immersifiers accordingly.

I'm itching for this one because I've realized now that I have Black Swan I can put Penacony planars on Huohuo to get some bonus damage and speed up her ult.

Lynx is the best option, yeah. Bronya helps in emergencies if you have her too. 11 shouldn't be too bad to brute force one side without a cleanser because Black Swan (and Kafka if you've got her) should eat the robot side for lunch.

The mobilemeta one is just like enka.network where all you do is put your UID and it pulls the builds from the favorites from your in-game profile.

Of these I only even remember Roche (the new SOLDIER?), Madame M (hand porn) and Chocobo Sam. Of those I thought Roche was most fun

I mean she's still ultimately a lightning DPS, which Kafka covers, and as a Nihility they'll be fighting over my GNSW cone. Unless they make really good teammates for each other I don't see how you'd get much use out of having both.

I'm down to 20 pulls and 10 pity now but I was always going to skip Sparkle because I have Bronya at home. I'm still working through the story so hopefully I can scrape together enough pulls for Fu Xuan or Aventurine in 2.1. Which one I go for might depend on banner order now, I guess.

Well, I was weak...figured I'd throw a few 10 pulls at the Black Swan banner to try to get Misha to E2 where he gets some defense shred. 80 pulls later I got him there...and E6 Guinafen, E6 Tingyun, and E1 Black Swan. At least the girls deserve it.

Apologies to Dan Heng, but I will be enjoying Black Swan's new permanent Ruan Mei ult.

Ah yeah well I struggled with those two on Conundrum 2 but that was a combination of getting Swarm/Argenti as the final choice with no weakness implant and making the foolish choice to drop Huohuo when I really needed the cleanse. Still, Black Swan arcana got me there and with enough Nihility blessings I don't think damage would be an issue...

Also is it just me or do the Nihility resonance interplays in G&G suck ass? Remembrance and Elation are fucking nothing!

Honestly if you have high Es on Lil Gui I would consider ditching Black Swan in that scenario and running Kafka/Gui/Ruan Mei. It is harder to brute force through resistance with dots because they can't crit.

If you're trying to do the current MoC 12 first side with the dot team, I've found it to be kind of a nightmare. That fucking deer has 40% resistance to lightning AND wind. Oh and 40% effect res so sometimes Swan's stacks just eat shit.

Nah, ATK vs Wind Damage depends on team comp and ultimately just comes down to which has better substats. And idk about anyone else but resin almost always lets me down on substats.

Haven't started the new set farm yet but I might switch Ruan Mei to Vonwacq too. With Kafka and Black Swan's new setups, they both move before her due to RM's speed buff not affecting herself

I have two options for Black Swan. Always 4pc DoT and 2pc Glamoth.

The second one is gonna be more consistent for endgame bosses. Against bosses with 40% res you will have almost a 20% chance of missing an epiphany stack from basic and talent in the first build, half that in the second. Though in other situations the first is more damage.

Oh hey I was right about the weightings at least so my ratings didn't change. Wind Orb and 2900 atk still feels bad for the Ruan Mei comp, but blowing Resin on a Space Station atk orb feels awful. I guess I'll just hope for good Glamoth drops. Or...go back to running Asta on that side, lol.

I'm constantly surprised by the amount of people I see settling for less than the 120% baseline and/or not maxing talents which means you need even more EHR! Seeing that effect resisted popup causes me psychic damage.

Monoice has potential but I don't have Jingliu. I'm sure it works because she's busted but idk if that ends up any better than Jingliu hypercarry. The weird thing about Misha is he wants SP consumption to buff his ultimate so you want to maximize your SP use and not just be positive.

Not yet, Black Swan ran me out of exp books. I'm considering pulling for Misha cons but idk. Black Swan doesn't really need E1, so I should probably be practical and pull for DHIL if I do that...but Black Swan would be REALLY good with that E1...

The other thing with Misha is that I don't really know what his teams would be like. He seems made to be a sub-DPS with the whole team spamming skill, so you'd want someone like Hanya? Honestly I was shocked he's not on the banner with Sparkle.

It is funny when you think about it, "damage over time" is a misnomer in this game because what you're actually doing with both of the 5*s is stacking enough debuffs to detonate a tactical nuke on the enemy.

Planars aren't ideal but I've long since thrown out all my ATK orbs and am having abysmal luck bulk synthing pan-galactic planars. I'm gonna have a hell of a time replacing that rope anyways so it's fine.

Also wish I had a better cone to give her than S2 Eyes but tutorial is shared between SW and Pela. Plus I'll get more copies of it...eventually...

She fits in most dual carry setups but is kinda awkward with Ratio, whose team slots are fairly limited to his debuff requirements and Clara's mark is not a debuff. You could do it if your debuffer slot can apply all 3 debuffs you need like Silver Wolf or Pela with Pearls...but idk how effective it is.

Herta doesn't even need crazy investment, mine's level 60 and still 3 starred floor 4. If you're not running dot units, I think the wind shear debuff is the best one.

First of all, Batman broods but he's not really "edgy" with the exception of Frank Miller and Zack Snyder's takes.

Secondly it's more about how Joker is perceived in this case than the overall character, which is highly variable in edgyness. TDK and Joker are popular enough to warp perception. Plus random other shit like Leto and that time he cut off his own face in the comics. He's got plenty of edge.
