Nope. I'm done respecting their opinion. They are WRONG. Physical books suck fucking ass. But due to poor planning on my part, I'm stuck with this miserable, massive, hardcover piece of shit that makes me not want to ever read again.

fr tho my biggest problem w/ my Ally wasn't the abysmal battery life, it was just that it felt like cheap shit and Windows sucks ass as a handheld gaming OS even when it works as intended.

just get an OLED steam deck imo. the battery will still be better, the performance difference is hair splitting, and the OLED screen is sooooo much nicer than the extra 30hz. and you don't have to deal with windows.

Great! Now it'll get 2 hours of battery life!

The guy who set up our internet and shit at my work like, insisted we have a phone. So we do. It's in the basement and the ringer is permanently muted, which makes me very glad.

What also makes me very glad is we can set up the whole phone menu tree online and it's INCREDIBLE.

You call my work, and it gives our hours and location right away with the option to leave a voice message first. Then it gets weird. One of our menu tree prompts is a plot summary of Gremlins. The other one lists all the original 151 Pokemon in order, but the character limit for each message is only 1000, so you have to press through like 3 or 4 more prompts to hear all the Pokemon, and it goads you if you decline. And then it summarizes the plot of Shaq Fu for SNES.

Last big one I went to was the first launch of GTAV, it was insane. Lines around both sides of the building (one for 360, one for PS3), people having mini pizza parties, etc.

I love the convenience of digital since you can preload the games before launch and be playing them right when they come out vs picking up the physical copy, driving home, and waiting 30+ minutes for it to install before you can even play. But the midnight launch experience was so good.

I was in line for Halo 3 at midnight. Fucking great experience.

It would not surprise me in the slightest if it was due to a licensing issue, those dingdongs chose a Godspeed You! Black Emperor track as the film opening accompaniment, and that was a poor choice in the long term.

Not that the song is bad. It's great. It's better than the movie that chose to use it by a long shot. But if anything is keeping it off streaming, I'd imagine it's Godspeed.

I imagine it's kinda like the mass shooting statistics. You look at what like the FBI data is or whatever and compare that to what actually hits news headlines and there's a big disparity.
