You didnt do the common "get Kimahri to steal so you dont have to wait for Rikku" route and it doesnt seem like you took him down Lulu's route to get another person who can do elemental damage.

Ok looking it up and you cant miss the first 3 as you get them in dungeons where you need them to complete the dungeon. That's not what you are looking for though.

The next two (which are what you want) are actually missable and you just got to the point you can maybe get them (if you are able to travel around atm. I didnt look to far into when you can do things).

It's part of a sidequest I think you can now start. Start by going back to Myorzo and talking to the elder.

You may want to just wait until you are ready to do a bunch of side stuff though.

I was expecting so much worse for spoilers in that opening.

I didnt even end up making my wife skip it. If you are anime only snd aren't trying to analyze it or pausing throughout it you probably won't get more than small spoilers.

You should have gotten a few upgrades by now. At least I dont remember thr upgrades being really back loaded.

Auron carried so much by his look and badges aura. I also liked him a lot less on my 2nd playthrough.

I'm glad that if nothing else this playthrough is making you hate Yuna and Wakka less. Though it at least seems like you are enjoying the game overall.
