For sure. Its not just what you say or do but how you do it. Doesnt cost anything to be kind to people. Im not perfect but I can say with honesty I live and die by that. I never go out of my way to be cruel to anyone.

I dont think Korra is a better series. With that being said Amon is the best villain in either Avatar IMO. Backstory, threat, cool factor, fear. He checked all the boxes.

Im just in a real point of self reflection in general right now.

I made alot of mistakes, specially with her I definitely held her to an unrealistic standard, and really failed to properly communicate the kind of relationship I wanted with her, partially because I wanted to have my cake and eat it too.

Im also just accepting the fact the woman is just self sabotaging at this point in her life and has demons she needs to address to have a successful relationship.

I agree with all of this. Youre not alone man. I do miss my ex as a person. She was great. Genuinely the funniest woman I know and just a great time. With that being said I dont miss our relationship. We were never on the same page. We both did pretty toxic things.

I will always be grateful for her just for the fact I now know what I actually want out of a relationship.

Yeah minimum wage hasnt changed much and prices have gone up. Thats why I never like the prices will go up arguments. Prices go up regardless because of corporate greed.

I would rather see a focus on bringing the cost of living down; if necessary by price or profit caps on essentials. Increasing wages only ever works as a temporary band aid.

Making more money and spending less money accomplish the same goal. Both is the best option.

I dont think its feasible to think companies will actually lower prices. I have little faith in the government but Id put more trust in them than these companies.

Thats every job Ive ever been at if Im being honest. More tenured people typically get paid more and learn/are able to delegate tasks. Thats how businesses retain good workers it seems. Ill never forget the first management position I got they said I was doing too much. Also you dont know if hes doing other stuff behind the scenes.

Your time will come.

This is the baseline life that Americans should live. The more you do, the more you should make but anybody who works deserves a living wage and no adult should be forced to have roommates if they dont want to.

I agree. I dont care what your job is. If you go to work 40 hours a week you should be able to afford your own place and basic things. Thats not much to ask for in the alleged richest country in the world.

I like that. Maybe 10% of average home purchase price must be the federal minimum wage. That actually tracks with what I was saying coincidentally. Average home sold for about 450 in 2023. $20 an hour is 42k.

To me, I think it is absolutely insane anyone in this country is paid under $20 an hour. I think thats really the minimum you need to get an apartment these days and Im of the mindset everyone has a right to shelter.

Asking because I heard Missouri allegedly lowered it to $7.70 but seems like BS.

By ease of use I mean simply that when you put in a switch game you know its designed to work specifically for the switch.

Steam deck doesnt have that guarantee. You may have to tweak settings to get games to run properly, and Steam OS is not without its share of bugs and glitches. It can do more than the switch, but its objectively less simple to get things to work sometimes.

The games that require tweaking 99% of the time are games the Switch cant even run. Games that arent very demanding rarely require anything.

It can do more which is why it requires tweaking at times but it still has a low barrier to entry for casual gamers.

The steam deck and similar handhelds win in pure power, but lose to the switch in ease of use, battery life, and price right off the bat. When it comes to handhelds pure power is not the main goal, and really shouldnt be.

Battery life Nintendo wins by far. Ill give you that. In terms of price and ease of use though I dont really agree. SteamOS is pretty easy to navigate. It only becomes a little tricky if you want to dual boot, emulate, or run something you need a launcher for. Most games really are as easy as buy, download, play. Also in terms of price you can buy a brand new Steam Deck for $349. A Switch OLED is $350. Very competitive especially when you consider Steam Deck is a lot more powerful.

Yeah it is. A quick google search shows a sandwich is 700 calories, large fries is 800 calories, and 6 wings is 850 calories. That comes to almost 4000 calories once you add dipping sauces / condiments.

An 8 piece nugget is 381 calories but a 6 piece wing is 850? Something about that seems off to me. I know youre using official numbers but to me that feels like it wouldnt be as filling as it sounds. Ive never had the wings but I cant imagine they are so much more filling.

Im going to have to order this and see.

If this ever happens I'm willing to bet money Apple will be their partner. The two have very common design and development philosophies, and it requires the least amount of effort on Nintendo's part for maximum reach and profit.

They essentially port their games from one ARM SoC to another and suddenly their software is available on billions of devices which natively support all major controller types and in most cases can be cast to televisions.

Only issue with that is that Nintendo and Apple are both notorious for keeping users locked into their ecosystem. Again, I think the idea is great. I just have little to no faith knowing the history of these companies. I wish there was more collaboration but Im just pessimistic about it.

Thats really not a crazy amount of food. Ive ate two Popeyes sandwiches plenty of times. Depending on how hungry I was I could possibly put this down in one sitting.

Definitely a ton of food for 20 bucks on DoorDash though.

I didnt even know they did point of sale tax credit. I thought it was something that happened when you file or at a later date.

Definitely a good deal.

Oh they definitely wont, but thats only because they win have to. If people only bought exclusives on Switch and didnt buy any third parties for it, for instance, Nintendo might be forced to compromise a little.

I genuinely see no reason to play and third party games on Switch. It was different when they were the only real handheld option. There are multiple other options out there that do way more things with similar form factor now though.

I hope it happens or I hope they have some new innovation that will change the industry again. Not looking like it though.

If Nintendo did what PlayStation is doing where they release their exclusives on Steam a couple years after release, theyd literally print billions of dollars the first day they did it. So many people would even buy Switch games they already own again, because Nintendos hardware is awful and offers no compelling reason for itself to exist. Their software is amazing, but its held back by their terrible hardware.

I dont think Nintendo would ever do this based on history but I like the idea. I cant reasonably buy a Switch over these other handheld PCs. I would for sure play their games on one of them though.

Interesting. I wonder if that will be enough with the emergence of newer gaming handhelds like the the Steam Deck, ROG Ally and Legion Go.
Lenovo is supposedly working on a Go 2 already and Id be shocked if theres not a Steam Deck successor at some point.

At least for me Nintendo IP isnt enough of a trade off to purchase a Switch 2 over those.

Bought my mom some shoes and a couple pictures for Mothers Day.

I have a 256 OG Steam Deck. The anti cheat is the only thing making me want to switch. Games like COD will not run without booting Windows.
