Ms Pac-Man is so much more widespread than Pac-Man. Think about how often youve seen both of those around. I bet Ive barely seen any Pac-Man machines in my lifetime.

Ha, I just did that fight too. I used whichever ward it was that blocks projectiles and elemental + Fire on armor (Elemental still only level 1, even though I'm pretty sure I've had it equipped since I got it). That fight was definitely the hardest of that series.

I explained in the last topic that I really wanted to vote Warcraft but ultimately have to vote for the better game. WL has aged pretty well and is still playable to this day. Warcraft 1 has not, despite its past significance. I don't believe in pity votes...I've seen strange results happen because of them. And anyway, the same thing is happening today where I'd vote Samurai Showdown 2 over any of the other games today except the one it's facing.

I forgot series even happened. The other 3 were the first ones to come to mind. I kinda liked the villains contest - biggest problem was the small bracket, but even still it was unpredictable enough that no bracket was perfect. Its the only contest I made top 50 in too.

Slowly making my way through this. Doing some extra sidequests in chapter 12 now.

It's interesting how the minigames expect you to be fairly proficient in multiple different genres to get all the rewards from. I feel like I've played other games with a lot of minigames, but didn't need to be nearly as good at them. Let me see if I can make a list of the genres/similar games:

I remember attempting to play this sometime in the last decade, and I thought it was full screen? But I don't remember too well. I don't have access to the full game now, so it was just the demo. Yeah, it's still weird to play though, and playing the demo didn't really make me want to buy the full game from somewhere. It was my first exposure to RTS's playing at a friend's house, so I still have some fond, if awkward memories of this game.

Shes borderline and barely a yes right now. Rebirth has kinda lowered my opinion of her so far but maybe its because I played the original long enough ago. Shes fun to control in battle at least.

Sans is too famous to ignore. Wanted an FF superboss - tossup between Emerald and Ruby really but Emerald can catch people off guard so sure. Also wanted a tough fighting game super boss, and I see other supporting Rugal, though I'd be willing to switch him out for a different one. Mike Tyson is pretty famous too.

Like I said, I'm giving Atari a lot of credit for what they did in the early days. They had the first real successful, widespread console. Sega came along after those early days, and by the time they were big, Nintendo was too, so the industry was already on a trajectory of sorts. Sega did have a big impact, just not as much as Atari or Microsoft, I would argue.

I went with Atari > Microsoft > Sega

I gave Atari a lot of credit for its early days. Also, Sega really only had one really successful console, whereas Microsoft has done fine every generation, so I gave Microsoft the edge there. (I wasn't thinking of PC stuff, but that's even more of a reason to vote them over Sega)
