I find this hard to believe. If someone doesn't listen to her type of music or keep up with media she's in it's understandable they may not be familiar with her even if she's extremely popular. It was harder for people to miss Michael Jackson in the 80s I think since he was all over TV and everyone watched TV in the 80s. Changed schools in middle and pretty much ignored anyone who talked to me so became an outcast, withdrawing into a world of TV and video games. Feel like I missed a lot of potential memories and positive development.

Killing Phil Hartman and his wife killed his career too dude ruined everything for himself, like Bojack Horseman Andy's a piece of crap addict (not that all addicts are crap) which is why his career ended, but can you really blame him for Phil's wife committing murder suicide though? It was her choice to relapse on Andy's coke and eventually commit the murder. As a recovering alcoholic when someone offers me a drink I pass. Can't even blame the coke for what she did. Of course, they dont all manage it on the same scale, but financial crimes like this are rife. The publicity and details the government is giving about the case shows that. She could just get life sentence if she returned most of the money back, but she isn't so they are sentencing her to death. It read to me like she had to return most of the money and still be sentenced to death. The verdict requires her to return $27bn, a sum prosecutors said may never be recovered. Some believe the death penalty is the court's way of trying to encourage her to return some of the missing billions. A QR code on the pamphlets linked to a Substack post published around the time of the fire. In the post, an individual claimed that he was the one to set himself on fire.
