Was at work.

I'm at work. I'll be home in about 90 minutes. My weekends start on Sunday nights. I'm off on Monday and Tuesdays.

I have worked Saturdays since like 1992. In high school the bulk of my hours came on Saturday and Sunday. After high school I was in the U.S. Navy for almost 5 years and I was often working Saturday on duty or we were out to sea.

My job at the power plant I have been at since 1999 I have always worked the weekend and had days off during the week.

So yeah I haven't had weekends off my entire working life. Won't have them off until I retire.

walked my dog for like an hour

played games, watched like 2 episodes of ms marvel, watched a friend stream starbound and forager

Got groceries, went for a 7 mile run with a two mile walk home.

Relevant to the board was an encounter with some guy walking his poorly trained pitbull off leash. It was cold and not a lot of people out where I was walking. He saw me and called for his dog who came bounding from down the path. No issues but the dog wasnt following any commands and Im glad I wasnt still running. He got it leashed, I finished the walk.

also went for my morning walk this morning. i just got done watching Jeopardy with my folks and now i'm gonna go take another walk.

Is today Saturday? Wow

Jiu-Jitsu class, walked dog, died a bunch of times at Moonrise Tower in BG3. Going to the climbing gym right now. It's a pretty standard Saturday for me, and I often times wonder what other people do to fill the time on Sat.

Laundry, mowed the lawn, gave some feedback on student papers, checked in on dance concert rehearsals, went out to dinner with my wife, watched the Drag Race finale, caught both Cubs games, plus about an hour of video games.

I smoked some green, played video games, rocked some tunes and got absolutely shit-faced drunk.

Been a great day.

Mainly GTAO and YT. Its been raining for over 10hrs.

I read for a bit, went for a walk and out to dinner. I've been spending the night working on getting my Kindle library converted since I'm getting one of those Kobo Libra Colour readers that comes out in a few weeks and I want to be ready to load everything with the Phillies game and then Dune (1984) on in the background. I did want to go get some ice cream earlier but I got too absorbed in to what I was doing and lost track of time and it got too late.

Made this tres leches cake for my friends bday. It was a pot luck in the park.

Went to a DnD-themed birthday party and now Im painting

Went to coffee shop for breakfast with my son, laundry, yard trimming & mowing, clipped the cats nails, got a haircut, bought some cheap-ass DS games from the game store next to Great Clips, lifted weights just a bit, played some Mario Galaxy 2, went to Discount Tire to get a new tire+wheel to replace one that blew out the other night but they didnt have the right wheels in stock, dinner, gave wife massage.

Im not normally this productive, but its one of the first weekends Ive been at home so a lot of the to-dos on the list had been building up for a bit.

Went out with wife for a fancy lunch. Played Fallout 4. Went to grocery store. Now just chilling with some smoke and drink.

Played Destiny for a but and then read manga and mostly slept. Felt pretty sick. Sunday now and its bettered enough to be able to work, so I didnt really get a weekend.

Made sure my car is filled up on all its fluids, finished the FF16 DLC, got a pizza, and tried to get through the rest of the Dressrosa arc in One Piece.
