There's a difference, yeah, but there's a massive overlap between the furry community and the LGBT community. The venn diagram tends to be pretty close together.

Because people don't understand that I value my time more than I value anything else. It's faster to go through self checkout, and the labor investment on my end is completely negligible.

I'm talking about "acceptable targets." Even some people here who are pretty left-leaning and otherwise tolerant have a specific disgust regarding furries. The same people who would never attack someone for being LGBT would totally make fun of somebody just for being a furry.

I literally would never have heard anything about this if you hadn't made a topic.

The difference is the demographic, I would say. A very high percentage of people who identify as furries are members of the LGBTQIA+ community. At some point, people might realize that by taking easy shots at furries, they're also taking shots at marginalized groups almost by default.

It's still wild to me that they released D4 and then announced its first expansion like 5 months later.

At the rate we're going, furries are going to become the next hot button social issue. Especially if state legislators try to pass laws like that crazy one in Oklahoma.

The internet is running out of acceptable targets slowly but surely. Furries are acceptable targets now, but that might not be the case forever.

Final Fantasy 7 is a game that a significant chunk of millennials would say is the greatest game of all time.

FFXVI was received well when it came out, but it doesn't have the enormous longterm nostalgia factor going for it.

I watched it like two years ago because my gf and I had no better ideas. We both agreed that it just wasn't funny, despite obviously trying to be funny... and obviously, the creators thinking it was way funnier than it was.

It wasn't offensively bad, but it was still pretty bad. The worst offense was that it was a reboot, not a sequel.

Thankfully, Afterlife corrected that mistake and attempted it again. What's fun about that is that the "new Ghostbusters" team is ethnically diverse (also two girls, two boys) without feeling like it was forced to be that way.

I "get it," but it loses me with its mumbo jumbo world building in the first movie. Took me and my gf 3 tries to watch the whole thing, picking up where we left off each time.

It was just very, very dense with jargon and exposition. Most of it felt hokey to me. I give the franchise credit for being an early success in the space epic genre, but boy did some of those concepts age with questionable grace in the mean time.

Yeah, people were talking about this when the batman scene from the suicide squad game leaked. Thank God that game wasn't his final performance.

The premise was awful from the very beginning. Nobody was actually excited for this game from the jump.
