I have that one! I love it.

I also have the Vikings ship, which isn't as big or good, but still great and they look great next to each other.

Also the viking village, and the 3 in 1 castle, and the medieval blacksmith shop, and El Dorado fortress, and the medieval town square. That last one I just got recently and I'm really slow about building it.

I love how they all go together theme wise.

You don't even really need fast speeds for gaming.

I'm one of those guys that actually likes a lot of M Night's movies.

But I do admit he is terrible at creating "normal" scenes. Like just the happy times with friends or parents and their kids, they always come off as so fake.

You have no reason to worry. 68,116 users roughly have access to CE, as long as not every single user gets removed from the board it'll still have a community to it. If the "death sentence" does happen that is in control of the users and user behavior with a few exceptions like if bad moderating takes place as an example.

LUE exists as a case study. This very same thing happened to it. It is now dead.

Closing off access to a message board is going to kill the message board. End of story. Slowly, over time, it'll die.

DToast's post here is so narrow-minded, corporate and robotic. "Beep boop, just follow rules and don't be banned and numbers will stay same, beep boop."

That's not how it works. People lose interest in a message board. They might naturally just move away from it. Get busier in life, be unable to post. People leave. New people come. Fresh blood, new users. An ebb and flow. That's how these kind of communities go. With no new users, the board will die over time.

But no, everybody just be good and we have nothing to worry about.

Also, what's up with the general attitude of DToast? Here is a quote from the admin announcement:

"Since then, weve made sure youve had a dedicated Community Manager - DToast - embedded in your community to make sure your needs, concerns, and culture are well-represented within our company."

He is NOT representing our needs, concerns and culture. He's combative and defensive. I've never seen a community manager like this honestly. It's an argumentative and toxic relationship between him and the community he's supposed to be representing. He just keeps going on about people here not being engaging in good-faith, when the vast majority of us are (with just a few trolls here and there who may not be).

I've always said the hate was way overblown for that show. Like, everyone seemed to go on about the laugh track, but that's literally every single sitcom ever.

Almost kinda feels like it was just the generational shift of younger people no longer enjoying sitcoms on a fundamental level, and BBT was the sacrificial sheep because it was big at the time.

Yep, that too! LUE had warning, you could scramble to make sure you made it. With CE, if you're out you're out.

I even have a friend here that I've been trying to contact who is in purgatory. I guess that means he now doesn't have CE access anymore. Not sure if I'll even be able to contact him at all after this.

Ive been on GameFAQs in at least some capacity since 2002 or 2003. CE I remember starting to browse/post on in late high school or early college years (so around 2008) and Ive been here since.

Ive always considered GameFAQs (and to a lesser extent CE specifically) to be my Internet home.

My thoughts exactly honestly. Gamefaqs is my internet home base pretty much.

At least it used to be.

It 100% is.

If you get purged status, you can still have access to LUE if you had it before after your purgatory. You don't lose access. But you do lose access to CE. CE is literally getting stricter treatment than LUE did.

I don't think the new owners even know that LUE exists or what it is.

Like national news was in Kerrville? That's wild to me. Freaking Podunk, TX.

No kidding lol. Lester Holt mispronounced it. I'm surprised they weren't in Fredericksburg instead.

So they've got live reports on all these different places. I watched the Kerrville one and it was fine once the totality first happened, emotional and clapping and stuff. But then the reporter went straight into all these hyper interviews, while the eclipse was still literally happening (4 minutes of totality), talking like it was all over with, what did you think of it, etc. Just shut up and film the landscape and sky and stuff.

At one point he's just having a casual conversation with some family, and the sky literally turns from dark to light and they don't even acknowledge it.

Sorry just kinda pisses me off. If I was there I would want to sit and experience it, not have some annoying reporter barking at me while it's literally happening.

Probably going to test the devestator and counter sniper as well again.

If it works against the cheap AT-STs, they may be my new bot weapon, instead of the sickle (no recoil = full auto towards bot eyes = very satisfying).

Probably going to have to look for a new bug primary. Really liked the Slugger.

Spray and Pray is a great bug primary actually. It's what I use.

This show reminded me of Lost in that it was so incredible for a good while, but by the end of it I just could barely care at all.

He also went overboard as a zombie in Planet Terror.

I actually looked up Dynasty Warriors 10 a few days ago and the word is there could be an announcement this year. But nothing official yet. Kinda funny I bring that up now as I did think the series was dead as I bump this topic.

It'll be shit, I guarantee it. DW got lost as a franchise I believe. It started out in the first several entries as trying to simulate ancient warfare on a big battlefield, with you being a powerful warrior alongside your army. It evolved into just goofiness.

I remember in the first entries you actually had bodyguards. Like, you trained up 8 little dudes to fight alongside you, and they were actually important. Imagine that happening in the modern games, they'd be pointless.

I feel like the special classes could have more obvious quests. I'm like 40 hours in and missed Sigurd and the spear class, could have unlocked it early in the game.

It has such a soft spot in my heart, and will always be that series that was once upon a time ground breaking and a technological smash, but then they decided to never ever change and just made the same game for two whole decades and now has the reputation of being cheap trash. :')

I think 5 was probably the best. 4 is when I got in but 5 seemed like an improvement over that.

They have personality, but no real story. They're all player creations. One you create, two you get from other players. Think of them as obedient robots with personalities.

Yeah the character designs are great. Character creator too.

I picked an all female party. My pawns had a conversation that went like, "I noticed we're all females". "Yes, but we're all unique."

And then later, one pawn said "I had a previous master who only ever hired female pawns." "Hmm, how curious, I wonder why."

Game is great.

Played for hour and a half. It's amazing. Love the new pawn stuff.
